I'm guessing you're on a weekly/fortnightly roster? I used to work in a casual job which had rostered hours, being on full-time work for almost 3 years now I see pros and cons to both.. it's nice to have the certainty with full-time hours but then you have to share the peak hours in shopping, services, traffic (before and after work between the usual 9-5 workers). Plus it gets grindy... Whereas on causal, the overtime money can be really good especially on public holidays but yeah harder to plan things and as you say, the unexpected call ins can put a damper on plans. But it was nice having gaps as doing things outside peak was great.

Out of curiosity do any of you change your eating habits after a really stressful day? Maybe certain foods or drinks help you to destress better or do you find you tend not to change your food preferences? I must admit I tend to reach more for the coffee (probably not the best idea) on those stressful times.

When it comes to projects, do you find you're more productive in the morning, afternoon or at night? I find I'm more a night person. I procrastinate easily during the morning and early afternoon. Towards the late afternoon and evening I'm at my peak when it comes to working on the main website. Bear in mind I work full-time 8am to 4pm during the week, so what I said above really applies to weekends. During the week I relax some days and depending on how much I've destressed, I will work on the AN Community projects. How about you?

Greasy, oily but a tasty choice. Had sausages, bread rolls and white button mushrooms sliced, buttered in a pan fry.

We've been flooded with lots of New Zealand TV shows lately, Highway Cops is a good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBPHWcdzoco Listen closely to how they emphasise certain words. I can't quite describe the accent, bit like a hybrid..

Hello there Crowe, welcome to the AN Community forums, nice to have you onboard. Let me know if you have any questions, requests, etc. Ooh Fairy Tail and Log Horizon, I've been meaning to watch those, they're on my to watch-list. I would be curious to see some of your work, if it's publicly available of course. I think we have a few members here who have written fiction as a hobby here though that was sometime ago, I will need to check with them if they've written anything recently. Ooh a game developer! Out of curiosity may I ask what platform/engine? I'm not a great developer, websites are more my forte hence why I have great respect for programmers and developers regardless of field.

What I meant was the things you can buy as takeaway from the IKEA marketplace so you can cook it at home, that's the one I bought Unfortunately they don't sell the mashed potatoes to take home. Tonight I just had McCains frozen Supreme Pizza and hot oven chips with juice.

Well sadly it was never going to be a permanent thing as it was privately contracted out. They had the best view of the Swan River by being very close to the Perth foreshore (next to our Bell Tower)... now that the foreshore is being redeveloped they don't really have that same location anymore, at least until the redevelopment is completed. Even then there's no guarantee we'll be getting the wheel back. It really was in a prime location, here's another photo of the skyline with it.

Here you can discuss your favourite and least favourite features of Facebook, its current direction, recent changes, anything Facebook related. My minor gripe with Facebook is the increasing number of "Suggested Posts" (ads). And I still don't particularly like the News Feed, it seems a little random on how certain Friends posts are prioritised over others.

Understood Fab. Though.. out of curiosity, who do you think is more fit? You or @@Moster82 ? Or about the same? My random rant: 66 days (9 weeks, 3 days) until Japan trip...

Thanks. Will be visiting around May shortly after my birthday. Singapore Airlines is doing some specials at the moment so it was a good opportunity. Will be checking out Tokyo and Kyoto in more depth this time around and also visiting some new places, Osaka and Nagano. *sniff* What about me :'( kidding, I know we already met.

Had IKEA meatballs, IKEA gravy and the IKEA jam (you can buy these from their marketplace to cook at home) for dinner. Very tasty.

I'm currently an Android user. My main apps include: Dolphin Browser Facebook Facebook Messenger Gmail Google Drive Dropbox Metroview (GPS app) Twitter (occasionally) Tumblr (occasionally) Games I don't play so much on my device as I drive a lot now. During my uni days yes I used to. I'm a sucker for those time management games (Hotel Dash, Diner Dash for example), text adventures. At the moment I'm hooked on that Simpsons Tapped Out one, the quests are hilarious.

I think you should check it out anyway and let us know what the experience is like. But DAMN I checked the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel website, $32 for an adult ticket!!! I notice though they do an Encore ticket which lets you ride it again within 30 days (so ideally do it during the day then again during the night). We used to have a wheel but it was only a temporary thing. Miss it.

Yes, spot on! Admittedly I find myself using both terms interchangeably from time to time, watching too many American movies and TV dramas will subconsciously do that to you. Speaking of accents, what do you think of the New Zealand accent?

Vague topic. Well I love to buy anime DVDs/Blu-rays online (this is a very costly hobby!). Recently bought some Sword Art Online figures from Wai-Con (Perth anime convention) my new camera should be arriving this coming week so I'll definitely be taking a photo when it arrives. Product and shop recommendations? Well depends what you want to buy. Hit me up if you're interested in Perth shops but generally speaking as long as you don't go over $1,000 AUD you usually get a better deal buying online. Otherwise you have to pay GST and duty on-top (which isn't too bad as even after that it may still turn out cheaper!) It's getting better but many things here (particularly electronic goods - such as cameras) are very expensive compared to American prices.

It seems like opening a café is the hip thing to do these days. if you gals ever get enough capital and have a solid business plan and a good area, then sure, why not? My random rant... glad it's the weekend. Had a 12 hour shift yesterday at work due to a 25th anniversay event the College was commemorating. Now to work on Gundam SEED content based on feedback from @@Fab and @@Moster82.. Damn that sounds brutal... you must be uber fit Fab

It's as if Pokémon trainers never age. Good call ND. Thanks Caroline for doing that.

My mini review, a more substantial one will appear on the main website when the revamp is done. SAO: Extended Edition is an OVA which came out around December last year. It is about 1.5 hours long and consists of two parts. The first part consists of a recap where Kirito, Silica, Lisbeth, Suguha and Asuna. The setting for the recap starts off with Kirito at first in an interview. Then interludes to the others, in an outdoor swimming pool at school. They even have a picnic! The fan-service towards poor Suguha by a very deviant Lisbeth is ludicrous and over the top, and a humourous excuse to see the female characters in swim suits... On a more serious note though, the female characters mostly reflect on how they met Kirito in SAO. It's quite humorous actually because if you remember these characters never met each other in SAO until the end of the series, so seeing their reactions on each adventure being retold is priceless. After the recap part is over, all the characters return to Alfheim Online to perform a rather silly quest that involves going underwater and into a cavern. The group consists of all the above characters plus Agil and Klein! It's really touching seeing all the characters together in one group. Klein is hilarious. Interestingly Asuna's appearance differs slightly in AO now, with blue hair. And new outfits for many of the others as we've never seen them in AO before. Of course Leafa retains her original outfit as AO is her originating world. And guess who else joins the party... Yui and Pina! Awwh! I really enjoyed this feature, it doesn't really advance the plot at all but it does make you feel good. It's more like an extended ending on top of the existing ending of the TV series. 7/10 from me.
