When foreigners look at another country's fictional media such as movies, games and anime in this case , they're going to be seeing the unrealistic portrayals of that country. This also happens in japan, they often have unrealistic perceptions of the west because of movies. Some of them unrealistic perceptions include: British men are all hot Foreign women have bigger tits than Japanese women and so on. Even south aisan men, particularly from india think that western women are beautiful thanks to western moives. Anyway, it's normal for people to glorify japan, as anime (some) portray japan as some sort of anime wonderland. But they probably didn't know anime isn't mainstream in japan, I mean Disney is far more popular than anime in japan.

All of those aren't Japanese... The first one is Chinese, the second is Korean and the third is Indonesian. You can tell it's Japanese if it has Japanese kana, such as; あおい, that is the first alphabet of Japanese (hirigana) and there is of course katakana: アオイ Chinese letters are like this 你好 Korean is written like this; ㅗ디ㅣ of course Chinese letter are used in Japanese (called kanji). But in Chinese, they are used all the time. To taste 'real' japanese ramen, just go to a ramen bar. And to know if it's really good, you'll just see a bunch of aisan/japanese people around it, or otherwise, ask an aisan/japanese freind to take you to get some ramen! And by the way, the mi goreng noodles aren't even ramen! They're indonesian noodles!

Jelous that you're able to binge watch. It's quite hard watching anime in general as my parents hate anime, although they don't ban me watching it. If you're gonna binge watch do these things: - Wear comfortable clothing - take a shit before watching (trust me, I ended up watch SAO on the toilet thanks to this one. - turn the aircon on (since it's its summer in nz) Anyway I prefer watching alone, and disscussing the anime on forums and with freinds. Also don't watch echii and harem anime with freinds, it awckwards and even more acward with the opposite sex or people who haven't seen anime.

Seasonal anime is pretty much anime that airing this season. People tend to enjoy it, as you can discuss the anime and what not. You can also create fan theorys which are a lot of fun! Lol this happens to me aswell, the cure is.... Just watch another anime to keep you mind of it. I reccomend One piece, as it is going on foreever.... it will take ages to complete.
