Unbroken Experiment

I did start to play FFVII, but I was indecisive and wanted a more uplifting game, so I've gone back to playing FFVIII. ^^ I just taught Quezacotl the Magic +20% (Mag+20%) ability which raises the current Magic value of the character it's Junctioned to buy 20%, Hit Points Junction (HP-J) which allows me to set a Magic to the HP stat that Quezacotl is Junctioned to in order to increase the character's max HP without affecting the base value, Vitality Junction (Vit-J) which has the same effect as HP-J but for Vitality, Thunder Magic Refine(T-Mag Ref), Mid Mag Ref which refines the lowest level Magic to mid-level Magic given there's enough of the lowest level Magic to convert to 1 or more mid-level Magic which gets added to that character's Magic stock, and the ever-useful Card Mod ability which refines items from Triple Triad(in-game card game) cards won from the NPCs that are able to be played against, and now I'm having it learn Magic +40%(Mag+40%) which has basically just accumulated AP (Ability Points) towards. I've had Shiva learn Vit+20%, Vit+40%, Spirit +20%(Spr+20%), and currently she's learning Spr+40%, and Ice Magic Refine (I-Mag Ref) and converted some Fastitocalon-F cards from turning them into cards via the Card ability from Quezacotl to Water Crystals and given Squall and Quistis 100 Waters each. EDIT: Apparently I have to be in a good mood to want to play FFVIII, so I'll switch between FFVIII and Front Mission 1st. I'm pretty sure I still have to increase proficiency levels for most of my characters in FM 1st Remake.

This username fits much better, I think. I like it. As far as the a new avy and sig goes, I made an Android 17 & 18 sig within the described dimension limits in the Signature part of Edit Account in our profile (800x200) or, in this case, 400x200. I wasn't sure if the text would be big enough to see, but I'm glad it is. ^^ The blue colors in the font are supposed to be a play on the human names they had before: Lapis (Android 17), Lazuli (Android 18) which together make the name for the blue colored rock lapis lazuli which was the color of their eyes. There's an interesting backstory to their human lives, but Dr. Gero all but erased those memories. That's why they call each other by the only names they know each other by: 17 and 18. Needless to say though, both of them held an intense grudge towards Dr. Gero for doing that to them because they weren't exactly what would be called "volunteers" for that sort of experimentation. Adds more satisfaction when 17 killed/destroyed the guy very shortly after being awakened from stasis and swiping the device that could shut them down which was in Gero's hand, but he was no match for 17's speed. After swiping the remote device, 17 destroyed it so the mad doctor didn't have any leverage over them anymore. Not before they both pretended to be under his command in order to get close enough to do so. I'm so glad I remember that scene where 17 literally kicks Dr. Gero's head off like some sort of guillotine effect. ^^ Whew. The backstory though is a lot more to type, but I'll most likely type it up here at some point with a GFX project featuring the android twins. Though I am sorry it's a slightly delayed quote. ^^; ^^; I really want to play the Crisis Core I got for my Switch (especially since I got the guide for the re-release of it and I still have the paperback guide for the original FF7), so, given that, I'll be playing FF7 Classic on Switch followed by Crisis Core. I also bought the blu-ray of the Advent Children movie, so that's all that I need from the franchise to feel complete. Official plot remade or not, I don't need the same game with modern graphics. Anyways, I'm about to start FF7 now. ^^

For this reason, and many others I won't get into, I'm mostly a misanthropic person. The only exceptions to my misanthropy are the genuinely kind-hearted people I find on the internet. I can't seem to find anyone like that in-person though. Not where I live anyway. Just to clarify though: I'm not completely misanthropic. I do make exceptions, like my friends on here and the 6 friends I have on Facebook. ^^

I think it was images in the signature, but you'd have you ask @Myouya for specific details about it. My interpretation might not be accurate. ^^; I'll add some of my previous projects to this showcase as I find them, but it turns out I'm missing some files. Some of the files must not have gotten copied over when I copied my files on my computer to my portable hard drive I use for this device.

This is where I'll display my GFX projects since I rarely draw and am far too self-conscious about what I draw to actually take a picture of them and show them. Anyways~ here are my first projects in accordance with the new image size requirements in a Signature. ^^ Since I've picked up Final Fantasy VIII on Switch again I thought I'd make a new set in accordance with the new Signature limits. Seifer x Ultimecia which are my favorite Sorceress and Knight. @Myouya, does the avatar have to be a certain size or is anything under 1.49MB ok? I only ask now because of the new maximum image size limit in Signatures. Good choice, btw.

I was in the mood to play a game with a love story yesterday to feel nostalgia, so I started Final Fantasy VIII on my Switch. I didn't put my name as Squall's this time though since I have no idea who I'd name Rinoa as. lol Since then I've had Quezacotl learn Card, Card Mod, and currently I'm working on T-Mag Ref to refine wind/thunder magic from items. So, he hasn't learned that ability yet, but I'm fighting two Fastitocalon-F's at a time on Balamb Beach then using Card on them to avoid gaining experience for any characters while simultaneously gaining 6 AP for my Guardian Forces' abilities. I've had Shiva learn I-Mag Ref so I can refine ice/water magic from items and so far I've Stocked 100 Scan, Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Cure from enemies. Using I-Mag Ref though I've refined 100 Waters to each Squall and Quistis, too. I've been using Cures to replenish HP in battle and after though to avoid having to go all the way back Squall's dorm room in Balamb Garden to recover HP, so it's either 90 of those for the two beginning characters or just under that. I like to Stock those from Caterchipillars then just escape to avoid any unnecessary gain in experience from its Ultra Waves attack which can sometimes inflict Berserk. I've managed to have Shiva learn Vit-J so I can junction some Vitality for Quistis. After I have Quezacotl learn T-Mag Ref I'll be working on teaching him Vit-J, too. ^^ Right now I'm working on having Shiva learn Vit +20% so I can further bolster Quistis' Vitality. After that will be Spr +20% to boost her Spirit since it was already able to be Junctioned (I think) with Shiva. After that I'll have her learn the Vit 40% and Spr 40% abilities, too. Then Str-J to be able to Junction Strength using Stocked Magic. I forget what abilities she can learn besides that, so I'll just have to wait and see what abilities to learn appear after that. I could look it up in the strategy guide, but I'd just forget it anyway. lol Quistis' Command Abilities are Attack, Magic, Draw, Item. Squall's Command Abilities other than Attack are Magic, Draw, Card. I'm saving the game on the world map after every encounter so I can avoid any leveling up just yet. I plan on getting the Lionheart on Disc 1 which requires a certain level range versus Grendels at the choke-point leading from Timber to Galbadia Garden. ^^ I still haven't gotten to Ifrit yet. lol I plan on dueling a lot of Triple Triad games to collect what I need for the weapon upgrades through Card Mod to refine items from Triple Triad cards. ^^ So, I still haven't gotten to the Fire Cavern just yet. ^^ Front Mission 1st Remake's O.C.U. story (which is recommended to play first before the U.S.N. story) is a tale of revenge, but since I'm a romantic I just felt like playing FFVIII. ^^

Oh, ok. I just prefer the cold, but it sounds like you actually need the cold weather. Cold weather rocks though, so if it was the other way around I bet it'd really suck. ^^;

When mom crashed her car into a deer. I was just playing my Switch, so I wasn't paying attention as it was when all of a sudden we hear and felt a BANG that shook the whole car. Frankly I was shocked the car managed to make it home. Fortunately we crashed in front of the town though, so we didn't have to go far. Though the engine was smoking when we parked, and luckily it was a cold night so it cooled right off after she turned it off. Seems we've got some luck where it counts, but mostly we all just have rotten luck. She's since gotten the car fixed, but they fixed a few things wrong, so she needs to go back to them and try to find out about that. It was the most scared I've ever been in my entire life though. I'm someone who isn't afraid to die, but when something like that happens all at once it's still surprising in a scary way. What's your favorite anime pet or animal-like companion?

Front Mission 1st Remake: After a lot of grinding in the Arena with Royd I've finally got his proficiency levels to 12 in the offensive department and 11 in Dodge. Turns out though all it takes for the Dodge rating to increase is when a character evades an attack by an enemy wanzer. Live and learn though, right? I originally thought it was only increased by using the Guard command in a wanzer battle, but apparently I was mistaken. ^^; Next up is Ryuji Sakata, his brother in arms that was there with him ever since Royd got promoted to Captain in the O.C.U. military, before they both got unceremoniously discharged after an incident that happens in the O.C.U. story right after beginning it. There was a soldier that didn't have a name that helped the two try to rescue Royd's bride-to-be when she was being targeted by U.C.S. wanzer pilots, but to no avail. She still died. Unfortunately she's supposed to die so there's no way to actually save her. A very tragic beginning to the O.C.U. story, but the main reason he joined the Canyon Crows mercs employed by the O.C.U. military due to their military not being very effective against the U.C.S. Currently though, Ryuji's proficiency levels are all at 10 (which is only one level stronger than the default of 9). I intend to get his proficiency levels to 12 as well. I don't see why not since I plan on making money while I'm at it so I can better prepare for a variety of situations after buying items, parts, and other things from the Shop. ^^ If you all want me to put spoiler tags around bits of information of the story like that, I will. I just figured it's not that new of a game, so a lot of people have probably already played it. If you want me to though, I'll put spoiler tags next time I mention story related information.
