I watch anime for the same reason people read books-to be entertained. -
I don't watch any thing yaoi-yuri on the the other hand is a whole different matter. I'll watch almost any yuri show, my favorite series is Whispered Words also known as Sasameki Koto.

I don't really give a damn what others say about dubs vs. subs, I'm gonna watch what I want the way I want to and to heck with other's comments.

I love to go to the theater that's only 5 blocks away from where I live and watch movies. Problem is that I'm very picky about what I watch-mostly science fiction and anime movies but there haven't been many of those lately darn it.

Every new season I'll watch 5 or 6 new series at most, anymore than that is too hard to keep track off. The other thing is that I watch stuff from various sources along with the new series and it can literally be overwhelming.

I really like the Rascal Does Not Dream of series, the 3 movies aren't hard to find.

I originally watched the first 2 Precure series way back in the day and then stopped for a long time but started watching them again about 3 years ago

I'd have to say I'm game for anything but yaoi, shonen ai, straight shonen, most giant mecha, sports. That about covers it.

I disagree, older anime has its charms but the stuff made today is every bit as interesting-look at a series like Violet Evergarden or almost anything that's Fate related.

I've been insulted before when I say I vastly prefer dubbed anime to subbed and I usually just tell them to shove it and go on my merry way, cum se cum sa is what I say.
