Which event will you participate in?

As far as Eri's quirk, they are unable to help her develop it ethically, since for now she has only been able to practice it on humans. Meaning, if she doesn't hold back enough, someone could die. The only reason Deku could endure the quirk at full strength was due to the extreme power of his own quirk rivaling hers. I'm guessing that from the ED that her family was killed by her quirk once it manifested. Poor Eri-chan She has a lot of healing to do. I hope they show more of her.

Just saw the latest episode (4) and I am continually drawn in to this world. I love the art, I know that it can seem a bit chaotic and out of the ordinary.. but thats kind of what this show is anyway. It is definitely out of the ordinary  The characters are so charming, Hanako-kun in particular has a way of being mysterious (since they have yet to give us his full backstory) and cool as he comes to the rescue of other characters, showing his chivalrous nature as the top apparition of the school, but he also has a cute side that I find appealing as its completely contradictory to his nature, yet it sets the tone for the show for the most part as being sweet and innocent. 

Anyway, if anyone is in doubt, check it out. It may not be for everyone but the story has been good, (the ghost stories are a new theme for me in anime) and the OP/ED doesn't disappoint either. 

Any Chihaya fans following season 3?

I just caught up to ep. 16 and it looks like some relationships are finally budding. All of the characters are being brought further in this season. It's been the best season so far for character development. Though I'm pretty worried for the coming queen battle this season..

I'm looking forward to see just how far the series takes their lives into the future... Will it all build up to the future but not show us their paths? So much left to do.. Maybe there will be another season and I can stop worrying

I'd definitely be interested to see this story get a remake.. I didn't enjoy the movie myself. I felt it was very outdated and boring at times with regard to the political background. I also Didn't feel that there was much to it.. The most impressively portrayed aspect of this show was the trippy moments inside Tetsuos head when he was interacting with the children.

Maybe having a live action, better character development through directing scenes better and perhaps a new take on this plot would be better for me, as I'm far from any die hard sci-fi fan.

Its "an alternate history retelling of the early Space Race from the POV of the Soviet Union".

It has been out for a while, but perhaps it wasn't on your radar. 

The sci fi themes here are very intriguing, though I am not qualified to say how possible they are, so you'll have to take a look.

There are cyborgs, humans who live on past their normal life length being preserved for around an extra lifetime in duration by technology, having cybernetic bodies and preserving their brains. However, their brains must continue to be stimulated or it would deteriorate more rapidly.

There are other components to this sci fi world, but they seem to be within reason. Let me know what you think of this rec.

@Serge heartless if you haven't caught up, nows the time. Remember when we were all guessing about Dekus future and a healer that could make him 100% again.. I think we've found one, in a weird, unconventional way.

That aside, I really appreciate Lemillion as a character about 100 times more now. I hope he gets his quirk back. Eri can probably save him.

What shows are you currently enjoying?

The VRMMORPG of endless possibilities!

This anime shows a very realistic looking MMORPG with an added twist. The in game characters are subject to eternal death if they are killed during a failed mission or simply by ignoring a side quest that comes up for your party.

The world building is more thoughtful than the other currently airing, Bofuri, but thats because this is a more plot focused show. Although there are some good comedic elements, its proving to be a serious attempt at capturing the life of a vrmmo and the soul of an rpg.

So far by episode 2 we have met the Main characters and a few recurring side characters. My first impression of them is good, and I feel that this is going to be a fun series to continue watching, simply for the enjoyment of exploring the game world with these characters.

I'm not a fan of the chat comments. Its very stalkerish. I think they need to quit while they are ahead on that bit. It served its purpose.. Yes we know she is a newbie getting attention from the gaming community. Enough already , its starting to look creepy
