First of all a BIG WELCOME to the forums dude! On another note the other day I was thinking about why I like anime so much and either surprising or unsurprising enough I think it has to do with my childhood of playing a bunch of JRPG's. I got into anime way late, like age 29. JRPG are, to this day, my favorite gaming genre. I grew up with Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 and a bit of 10, Legend of Dragoon, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger & Cross, Mario RPG, etc. Also played Tales of Vesperia and Symphonia, No No Kuni, and others. What I think I've come to realize is that anime feels very much like watching JRPG's in movie and show form. Just a lot of the shows remind me of the worlds and characters I explored in games since I was a kid! Not to mention I like the drawing style of anime characters and the Japanese inspired worlds. (I have both Yakuza Kawami 1&2 on the PS4 and can't wait to play them just to explore the setting!

Is it Ancient Magus's bride? I own the anime but I haven't even seen it yet. But just by the name alone it sounds like it could be it haha!

My haul just arrived! Seriously new anime always feels like Christmas! It looks like a got Sword Oratoria in the nick of time as it now appears to be out of print. I must say after seeing and opening up Made in Abyss I am utterly SHOCKED this thing hasn't sold out yet. I haven't seen the anime so maybe it's not that great and that's why, but the quality of the package is INCREDIBLE!!! No joke this is by far the greatest Premium box set I own in my collection so far! It looks like a little treasure chest and the way you open it up to reveal the art within is just fantastic!!! The extras are very nice as well and they come in the coolest, most beautiful little extras box I've ever seen! If you couldn't tell, I'm absolutely gushing over this little box set! So precious and uniquely beautiful!

Just finished High School DxD Hero. I actually enjoy the story and characters despite the EXTREME ecchiness of it all. For my next anime I'm wanting to change tone quite a bit a go with something different. Decided on steins gate.

I haven't played Berseria. The only tales games I've played are Vesperia and Symphonia. They were a lot of fun though. If I buy this I'll totally post pics! I'm sure it'll be beautiful in person.

They're at a show or something. I'm only getting one if I get it at all. Not planning on paying $6000 for the set! Rem is already off preorder so Ram is the only one available to still get. They both look great imo.

Those busts are like $2,000-$3,000 each! They look fantastic though.

If anybody here is into collecting anime figures or statues this would be a great place to post either your collection, or statues you have on po, or maybe just pieces you want to get. Besides preordering some AoT and your name nendoroids, I'm strongly considering ordering this Ram 1/1 bust: It's a LOT of money but I think she's gorgeous! Missed out on Rem as I found out about her too late but I'm not planning on not letting Ram pass me by. What about you guys. What figures are you into?

Made in Abyss-$59.99 Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon-$39.99 Squid Girl-$39.99 Flying Witch-$29.99 Thats crazy cheap!!! You can't beat those prices! Since I'm tight on cash and can't buy all the LE's on my want list I went for the "low stock" ones first. I don't want to chance missing out. The only low stock one I left on the table was K-On. But that's still at over $100 and I can't afford that right now. Hopefully it lasts a bit longer. I guess now I can delete those 4 off of my wishlist on Rightstuf.

My friends finally convinced me to pick up Overwatch so we could all play together. It's not that I didn't want to, it's that I'm always super busy. Anyway the games quite fun. Had my fist session with it last night and I definitely look forward to more time with it.

What's Chewy? And what problems did you have with rightstuf? On a side note I've been wanting to discuss anime figures but I can't seem to find a dedicated place here to do that. Do people not talk about those here? Where should I post a topic at?

Watching it yourself will always be the best option. Who knows, I've liked things that others haven't and didn't like things that others did before. It's all a matter of taste.

VERY true! I just let them know on their website how blown-away I was by the gesture. Someone took the time to hand-write my name and the specific title I ordered!!! Very very cool! It makes receiving my new anime SO much sweeter!

Hey guys. Just thought I'd share my great anime day with ya! Not only did I receive my anime haul today, but I also got a personalized hand written card from rightstuf! Now maybe it's cause I'm fairly new and don't order a lot that I'm receiving one of these for the first time, and maybe it's well known that they do this, but I thought I'd share. They hand wrote me a card thanking me for purchasing Anohana, which was not in this order but in my last! Seriously I had NO idea they did this!!! When I saw the envelope I thought it might be a gerneric 4th of July card from them, or even a "sorry we had to cancel one of your ordered items". (I ordered Cowboy Bebop and they ran out of stock) This card came in a separate envelope and wasn't in the anime box. Seriously I'm VERY impressed and the card will be a part of my collection always!

Well I just got word from rightstuf that they can't fulfill my Cowboy Bebop order! I'm very disappointed to lose out on it. Found it on crunchyroll's website but it cost me $40 instead of the $20 or so on rightstuf with the current deal they have going. Sucks! But I don't know how limited copies are so I jumped on it on crunchyroll.
