Vikings plus anime; now there's one I never thought I'd see. While I want to see this, I just don't see vikings and anime culture mixing. Then again, I said the same thing about Spongebob and anime, and the opening videos that Narmak made on YouTube were a modern-day treasure.

Greetings all. I am currently in the market for a tablet. My only uses for this tablet will be web development (no server side development), art creation, and reading ebooks and mangas. While I proceed to do some market product research, I would like to know if our fellow artists here would like to weigh in on what they think the best tablets are. My budget on this is $1500 USD. I do have a few requirements for what I need this tab to be though: a 64 bit UEFI At least 8GB RAM (preferably DDR4, if that's a thing in tabs) 1920x1080 screen (preferably 60Hz, but not necessary) At least 2 USB 3.1 ports (USB 3.0 will work though) To comfortably run Photoshop as well as other art creation tools To comfortably run Microsoft Visual Studio Code for web development I'll probably add to that list in time. I'm not expecting to buy this until several months from now anyway. Would anyone like to mention or recompensed a tablet that would suite my needs? I'll even buy a used one that's a little older if it will do as I listed above.

As 2019 and the previous decade come to a close, what are your goals and hopes for 2020? I want to get back into going to the gym. College started in August, and I stopped going to the gym after. My next semester starts next month, but I want to tie exercise back into my schedule like before. I lost a lot of weight prior to school, but have gained a little of it back. Hopefully I can re-integrate the gym into my day with school as well. I also want to develop and host my personal website soon. I've been working on it offline for a while, and its almost time to get a web server started for it. I'm just not to that point just yet Third, I want to leave my toxic job I'm doing now, and go into out I.T where I work. I suspect management will not move me though until I complete school. So, what all are you hoping to do in 2020?

The more I lurk and explore here, the nicer the forum becomes. I've seen only a great and positive user base here, something that Reddit and (dare I say it) 4chan severely lack. I'm glad to have discovered this little corner of the interwebz.

Today is going rather well, family are here and everything is very nice and sound. Cheers to the friends and family not present, cheers to the ones we have with us.

Sweet dreams are made of these, who am I to disagree I certainly feel like I've traveled the world and the seven seas myself, I usually dream some pretty wild things. I currently work a night shift job, and sleeping during the day brings me the most bizarre dreams.

Truth be told, I'm probably going to get a Photoshop CC subscription soon. I would like to know more about GIMP since, after all, I am a Linux user; however, Photoshop 'just works.'

Right now; nothing. I'd like to read Naruto, considering my library now has the entire series. I'd like to get a really nice tab at some point and begin a collection of manga per digital format. I suspect, if not Naruto, the next series I will read will be something pertaining to exercise or gym culture. How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? looks like an interesting read.

Greetings all, and Merry Christmas. I would like to ask our fellow GIMP users here; what are your favorite plugins? Granted, it may not be as feature rich as Lightroom or Photoshop, but its currently my only option as its free. I'm trying to get the same functions found in Lightroom to work in GIMP via plugins. Would anyone here like to recommend and share tools they use in GIMP?

Do you maintain a journal just for recording dreams in? I've been told to do so myself, but never have.

I just beat Crush in Spyro 2. I'm currently playing it on an emulator, and playing the game takes me back to a better time in the late 90's and early 2000's.

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place for a thread like this, but I'd like to share with anyone interested my thoughts and opinion on the Ipega 9083 controller. Its compatible with the Switch, iPhone, a computer with a Bluetooth dongle, but I use it with my Android phone. I have it beside an Xbox controller for size comparison. Overall, its was worth the $30 USD I spent for it. Very nice build quality, although I wouldn't stress it more than necessary. The joysticks are comfortable, but are not as precise or as sensitive as an Xbox One controller. The triggers are not analog or pressure sensitive, just buttons. The buttons as well as the D-pad are not pressure or distance sensitive either. Despite the lack of pressure sensitive buttons and triggers, its still a great phone controller. I've been play on several emulators with it and have enjoyed it so far. In conclusion; I like it, I believe others interested would like it, and I currently have no regrets with it. I will answer any questions about it if anyone has anything to ask.
