  2. Yes, it's usually known as Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed. My username and avatar are from a character in the game. I unfortunately can't play the original game, so I have to make do with this.
  3. Most of my tech is usually always charged up, so if there's a power cut I can still use them. No internet access, but it's whatever. I can still use my laptop to listen to music or write, and I have my Vita for gaming on.
  4. As I no longer own a 3DS I'll obviously be skipping these titles, as I did with the Ruby/Sapphire remakes. But based on what I played of X/Y, I'm not missing all that much. X/Y felt laughably simplistic and had so little difficulty to it. On my first playthrough I don't think I wiped out once, and I finished everything including the postgame stuff in less than 24 hours of game time. It was fun to roleplay though, due to the character customisation. I made a girl called Malady, who dressed in dark, earthy colours, and used only pokémon with dark, bug, poison typings, or were themed after
  5. Pretty much all I use to keep track of dates and the like is my phone. I don't really have the wall/desk space for a calendar.
  6. Due to recent events for me (my laptop died and I had to throw all my money at a new one), I've been left unable to purchase new games for a while. So I've been roaming my collection to finish some of the titles I purchased long ago. So far I've completed Fallout 4 and Akiba's Trip 2, and have started on Toukiden: Kiwami. Fallout I played religiously for about a week after its release, before getting frustrated with the crappy aspects of it like the building stuff. Akiba's Trip, I bought because I had already beaten it on Vita and wanted to play it on PS4, and I just couldn't force myself to d
  7. I don't preorder very often, really. Notable recent games I preordered were Fallout 4 (was disappointed by it), Sword Art Online: Lost Song (loved it), Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 (loved it), Gundam Breaker 3 (loved it), and Valkyria Chronicles Remaster (loved it). So basically I only preorder if it's a franchise I know I've enjoyed in the past.
  8. I enjoyed the game with friends, but on the whole it's not enough to get me to stick with Microsoft, after how abysmal their support was when I owned a 360. Or, I should say, four 360s in less than two years. Dumped the last one in favour of a PS3, seven years later that PS3 still runs. But no I did like Halo. In college we used to set up LAN games on Combat Evolved, which was just stupidly fun. And on Halo 3 I basically mastered the art of skyjacking people. In the event they were to make the series cross-platform I'd be on it in a heartbeat, it's up there with Timesplitters and Unr
  9. Mao, from Darker Than Black. I just love the sarcastic persona he has.
  10. I find that Log Horizon aims a lot more towards the mental aspect than SAO does. SAO is a lot more fast-paced and risk-driven, because if you die in the game you die irl, etc. Log Horizon tends to focus on the more human side of things, and seems to build a more realistic in-game world because of it. Politics, player wellbeing, the nature of humanity, all are things that Log Horizon dives into that SAO basically ignores for favour of 'scream at things and kill them'. Basically, I consider Log Horizon to be based on logic, and SAO to be based on emotion. I like Log Horizon more, but I real
  11. I studied videogames design, specifically graphics and animation. I also wound up stumbling my way through a course in film-making. Of course I don't use either, so the point is moot...
  12. I am kind of in need of a third season of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? I mean, it left season 2 on a massive cliffhanger, and then... nothing. It can't just stop like that, I won't let it. If needs be I'll write terrible fanfiction about it and do my best to find people willing to voice and animate it. I WILL NOT BE SILENCED Also Mahou Sensou. It got a really bum rap for being basically everything wrong with anime in the history of ever, but I really enjoyed it. And again, ended on a cliffhanger.
  13. So hi, I'm Rin. I'm 27, work in retail, and could've sworn I had an account here before, but oh well. I'm a big fan of the 'trapped in a videogame' genre, though I didn't enjoy Accel World. I also love anything themed around feudal times, so stuff like Sengoku Basara is right up my alley. So uh, yeah hi.
  14. I really like it so far. I haven't played any of the games in years, so it's a really fun sort of 'refresher course'. The only issue is that because I'm used to the English names, hearing their Japanese names keeps throwing me off-track. (I'm looking at you, Mitsurugi)
