I live not to far from San Francisco, where there is a Japan town with many stores selling anime merchandise and other merchandise from Japan. There is a lot of Anime/Manga available where I am (mostly because of the comic shops everywhere that have this sort of stuff). I guess I'm pretty lucky when it comes to that, but the stuff is always pretty expensive.

Finding someone to talk with is the most important I'd say, otherwise not having that type of practice can have you forget some things. It seems everyone already gave websites, so I'll say if you have a smartphone download some Japanese apps for on the go! Also perhaps buying actual Japanese textbooks to study from as well.

It was mostly really good with visuals but other wise... Meh. I really enjoyed the movie though anyway!

Who is going to actually see the film? Or will you wait for DVD release? Or maybe you don't want to see it at all... but if so why? I'm going tomorrow for opening day (least for where I'm from) I watched the show back when I was little since it seemed like it was always on to me, least back then. I'm super excited to see it! I don't have any complaints about the actors or anything, I'm just excited to see it and perhaps see others who actually watched the anime too.

The price is so high! But I want to buy it badly. I know that there will be more characters in the future, I hope a tomboyish one~ I'd love that. Wonder how to get one to work while your away from home... Also, the texting feature it has I wanna try out so much. How many responses can she come up with? I hope to see more videos of it in the future.

I'm not sure if anyone has heard of this, didn't see any posts so I'm going to share! Peria Chronicles is a game from Nexon KR (still not released) but seems very interesting and wanted to share about it to see if anyone else is interested or is also awaiting the game. So far the game seems to have no class, the makers say it'll be closer to Minecraft (because you can create things). However, a lot people would say it seems closer to an updated Mabinogi (also Nexon) It will be a MMO with the full character customization. Also it is cell-shaded, which would be about the style of the new Legend of Zelda game. The fighting in the game seems to be mostly based off creatures called Kirana, best explained as pokemon but not all are animal-like. You would summon them to fight, but you can also fight by their side! I have so many things lol Confession: I hate Pocky, also a lot of sweet Mochi. I love Japan but some the sweets, especially anything with red bean paste, is just the worse! That being said, I hate sweets in general too! But Japanese ones probably are the ones I dislike the most

I started to watch Tokyo Ghoul then dropped it when people said it was taking a different approach from the Manga. I'm wondering which one is better..

I have thought about if I really wanted to live in Japan. I've already visited and I quite enjoyed it. I'm not too good with Tokyo life because it has just too much city for me. I enjoy being in Hiroshima the most. It was much more calm for me. But I'm not still sure if I would want to live in Japan or just have a very long stay.

My favorite Vocaloid.. so hard.. I do love VFlower and Lily a lot, but when it comes to a voice I like with pretty much all songs and their own original songs, then it's for sure Iroha Nekomura. She is my all time favorite overall and I also love Sanrio so it's a big win-win!

Sailor Moon is my all time favorite Anime! Watched it before I could even attend school. My favorite Sailor Scout is and will always be Sailor Uranus! She was so cool to me and had both a feminine and masculine touch to her. She was very relatable for me and is my reason for watching the new Sailor Moon. She is still one my fave characters in general not just for Sailor Moon. (I want to cosplay her one day >w<)

I prefer dub anime, I think I'm a rare breed... I prefer dubbed anime because sometimes the sub ruins the feel for me. I guess a good example would be when a character has "perfect English" but all you hear is a strong Japanese accent. But also the anime I like are usually taking place in countries that aren't Japan and usually speak English or have a certain accent that the Dub can usually accomplish. I learned Japanese but not for Anime , that's too much dedication lol.

Hello everybody! Just call me Momotsu/Momo Or anything else ya would like! My favorite animes/mangas are usually in the shounen department, but I do like some shoujo. My least favorites are harems. I don't know many of the new popular anime >.< I'm very much interested in Japan and have graduated from a Japanese language school but still continuing my studies. I have also been to Japan and highly enjoyed it (❀◕ ‿ ◕❀) I don't really do introductions too well, so just try to bare with me Anyway I'm excited to meet everyone here!
