  1. Whaaat? No, no, none of that. You might find yourself being loved in a chair, as well, though. I hope you have eyes in the back of your head. You never know, you simply never know. I was straight too, until I took a gayness to the knee. Things happen. Btw, I'd do the same thing that zoop would do, sorry friend. < 3
  2. I am definitely not disappointed in your choice of car! The mx-5 is delightful, cute, and a not so distant relative of my mini. I actually thought about the mx5 long and hard before just grabbing my mini. I'm a motor head, but I'm not a dude, so I guess my natural preference stereotypically skews to the small and cute. Though, I do have a thing for muscle cars as well, lol. I have to ask, why is it your preference? Is it the cuteness? Omg, you utter whore!

Shit... Can I phone a friend?
  4. No hesitation, just make out right then and there, no matter where we were at. Don't care. Let's do it.
  5. ACTIVITY REPORT! I've made up my mind to diligently report all of the activities and doings of the Roleplaying/Board Game AF Group for the purposes of science and recreational archival. Well, at least all of the ones that I participate in. On today's agenda, @zoop, myself, and @zin all gathered in Tabletop Simulator for a deep, intriguing game of Exploding Kittens. I attempted to browse the forum on the tablet that you see in the screenshot, but Zoop kept changing to youtube and playing strange music. I won the first game quite handily by setting zoop up the bomb and then benefiting from zinnia's bad luck. After playing the base game, we played the nsfw deck and basically stood amazed at how utterly ridiculous the cards were. I destroyed zoop again, purposefully, and attempted to do the same to zin but ummm... Everything went wrong and I was buried in questionable attack cards and utterly and completely fucked by Zin. After that, we decided on a change of pace and tried playing pool. This went poorly, because, as it turns out, neither Zin nor I could play and Zoop was too busy adding balls to the table, moving giant monsters onto the table and generally being silly. So, we gave up on pool. Instead, we switched over to building with legos. I was building a house, Zin was building a house, and Zoop was building a car. Eventually, our houses suffered a tragic fate, and Zoop had to build a wall to keep our insanity from destroying her car completely. [spoiler=Zoop's Car] At some point, Zoop gave up, destroyed her car, and then joined in the insanity. Yes, there were calculators. Don't ask. At another point, we switched over to checkers and drawing. I will confess that I lost the checkers game due to not paying attention. Jokingly, I challenged Zoop to fight me IRL. She actually took me up on it. I won 2 for 2 in less than 2 minutes, and she gave up. The first time, she sneak attacked me by pulling me over the couch. She also attempted to distract me by licking me. It didn't work. The second time took ten seconds, hahaha. I just rushed and ended things. She tried to fall on top of me, but I just threw her over my shoulder and pinned. SECOND VICTORY. ANYWAYS. When we returned, after recounting the statistics of the battles to zin, we beheld our shared creation and decided that it should be preserved for all time in a museum. Well, we don't have access to a museum, but there is AF, so here we go - [spoiler=Fine Art]

Uhhh, all at once or one at a time?
  7. Bryce, I think that most folks here would probably struggle to make half of that while using just one hand, so you're doing pretty good, tbh.
  8. Do you have a favorite car?
  9. I know, right? Zoop's finger skills make me feel random feelings of happiness as well. Only, I'm not joking.
  10. Sooo, remember the keyboard that I spilled liquid into and had to fix? Well, it broke down again. It turns out that low budget vegetable oil isn't actually a good lubricant for a mechanical switch, hahaha. I had to take the damn keyboard apart again and use a proper contact cleaner. IT WORKS! That's three times now that I've kept the same keyboard limping forward. I'm totally patting myself on the back for this stuff. That is a chore to figure out, hahaha. Congratulations!
  11. I know you aren't, but you have got to stop taking this test constantly. The high speed smashing of keys is not really the best background music to a relaxing day. It's okay if you can't hit 120 wpm. It's fine. Life goes on. The current score is good enough, just please. stop. taking. the. typing. test. constantly. :strained_smile_emote:
  12. I agree with you on this one. No, not every day has to be positive. Some days are utter and complete shit and they should be called out exactly as they are. I'm a firm believer in the idea that days should be called as they are. There's no need for the weird happiness cult stuff that sometimes exists, these days. With that said, I'll be happy to still take you up on the invitation, even though we aren't in disagreement.
  13. I noticed that we didn't have one of these, so I decided to make one! Brag on (or lament) your typing speed in this topic. To post in here, I recommend the typing test available on this site because it works on a lot of different computers/devices, and if we all use the same test, then results will be somewhat comparable. Here's my speed on my computer - And, here's my speed on my phone (yes, I took the typing speed test on my iphone, hahaha) - Not bad considering that I have tendinitis! Before my injury, believe it or not, I was actually about 20 wpm higher on my phone and about 30 wpm higher on my computer. What's your speed?
  14. Do you know of any anime that were written or created by a group/company outside of Japan? What are your thoughts on anime as a worldwide phenomena? Do you think that it would make things better or worse in the community? I thought about this topic idea when watching The King's Avatar - which is an anime developed in China. I fucking loved the show, though it did take me a few moments to get used to the language being something other than Japanese. To me, anime *should* become less Japan-centric, because I really am interested in seeing the stories that could be told by fusing elements outside of Japanese culture into the medium. I'm just not sure that it ever will. Not directly, anyway. Instead, it looks like anime is just influencing other mediums heavily enough that maybe some strange hybrid will be created. Anyway, I think that it would make the anime community better, simply by increasing acceptance and familiarity. What about you? What are your thoughts on non-Japanese anime?
  15. I've always been this way, sadly. There's a reason for it - I actually suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, hahaha (is this tmi???). It means that I'm generally a nervous wreck, at the best of times. So, yeah, voice chat. Stuff and things. I'm shy! If you *really* want to know the reason for it, then here you go - [spoiler=No really, is this tmi? But you did ask.] (The irony here is that I keep a cool exterior and never actually flinch when faced with an emergency. In fact, I'm known at work and among family for being an excellent "first responder" to total disasters. I can calm people down and take control of a fucking horrible situation with cool logic. No matter how bad things get, I stay calm and focused and operate at 110% until the disaster has passed. However, I'm actually a broken up mess on the inside. When things are calm, I'm more or less constantly thinking about every single possible thing that could ever go wrong. I sometimes don't sleep I sometimes miss meals; and I sometimes get either tense or maybe uncomfortably wild/silly. So, yeah, I'm a great leader during a disaster, but I'm actually a broken up mess on the inside. HOW'S THAT FOR IRONY?! Apparently, too many disasters leaves you like me. My entire childhood was a disaster. BUT, I'm not gonna talk about that! Anyways! Yeah, that's kinda why I'm shy. I don't want to scare people away, and I've scared away enough people to not want to just do it accidentally. It isn't a conscious thing that I can directly control. My shyness is subconscious, just an instinctive avoidance. Give me time to learn you and I'll get familiar enough to maybe even want to talk via voice. It takes a while, sometimes.) Understandable, don't worry about it! We'll be around! (I hope???) Also... I got the mafia reference, but would I be correct if I assumed that your life has been a certain kind of strange?
  16. I'm okay with that! Though, I would also like to leave the day open to other games as well. I've been playing with Tabletop Simulator and there are sooo many options for everything that I feel like it would be a terrible shame to hog the whole day just for one thing.
  17. Not as of yet! At least not in the games that I'm in, hahaha. I'm a little voice chat shy (that's an understatement, tbh, I am pathologically voice chat avoidant) and I prefer to play without it for a few months and then, if everyone's still around, sure. (Since, I would then be used to everyone.) So, currently, no - no VC. At least not for me.
  18. I hated her main outfit. I hated it so much that I actually purchased DLC so that I could swap her into something that wasn't both useless and goofy. I mean, for fuck sake, she broke out of the prison and still continues to wear rags? It isn't even good fan service. It's just a chaotic eyesore that's really trying too hard to be "cool" and "dark" whatever that is. If you feel like throwing additional cash at the game, I recommend the Japanese outfit DLC, or the Pirate outfit DLC if you're feeling goofy. (The swimwear DLC isn't bad either. It's also not quite what you'd expect. I mean, seriously. How did the swimwear end up making more sense than the primary outfit? I don't understand......)
  19. That definitely helps! And, thank you for the time conversion! Hahaha. Seems like Saturday evening is looking like the sweet spot for any group activities. @zin does Saturday work for you?
  20. Hahaha! Well, I don't microwave mine, though, I actually just cook it! Actually, I stopped microwaving stuff a while back after a lifetime spent with the microwave. I just like heating things up better, hahaha. Yes! (I realize this contradicts what I just said, but still.) It's perfect microwaveable after the initial cooking! However, you can't cook it in the microwave at first, though a stove top can be good enough if it's a decent stove. The funny thing is that teppanyaki is deceptively simple to make. You're effectively doing a freestyle stir fry. The magic comes with getting the right mixture of the sauces and being able to split your veggies and other items on the hot plate and... And... OH GOD, I'M GETTING A CRAVING FOR THIS STUFF JUST THINKING ABOUT IT... HNNNNGGGG....
  21. @zin Hai hai! I don't want to make work for you, but could you list the names of the people that are interested in the games in the opening post? ---- Also, while we can keep game scheduling pretty loose, I wonder if folks can provide the days that they'd be most likely to be available for playing. For @zoop and I, the days that we'll most likely be around are Saturday and Sunday.
  22. When you say "Zoop a Zoop", what do you mean, precisely?
  23. I'm making a pizza! Which sounds awesome, except that it's probably the simplest possible pizza in the universe. It's also basically all that I can cook. Well, that's not quite true. I can warm things up just fine, make burgers, spaghetti, and other odds and ends, but @zoop can do all of that better - except for the pizzas and teppanyaki, which, coincidentally, are my favorite things to make.
