Extremely generic and mediocre up until the very end. The episode itself was pretty boring as well. I'll give it one more episode before I decide to drop it though. Even so, the one redeeming factor is that the MC looks amazing in his school uniform.

Exactly my thoughts. Hotaru is my favorite character. To be honest, it didn't really hit me that this episode was a prequel until the very end seeing as Hotaru just moved in. Also, best part of the anime:

It snows a lot around here. Back when I was in high school, I liked snow for cancelling school, but now that I'm driving around and stuff, its rather an annoyance. Summers around here range from around 30-35 degrees celsius, so not as hot as over there. My favorite season though, is autumn. Seeing the trees have so many different colors is really beautiful, and its really the only season around here where the temperature is consistently nice without rain every other day.

Well, if thats the case, I would highly suggest Magician and DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything. Both are very good manhwas.

Anime of the season right here. Totally awesome first episode. He can summon a high class monster like that without even trying, and he has guardians that can beat those monsters. I look forward to seeing what else he can do, as well as what he is going to order his guardians to do. At the very least, I expect this to completely outdo SAO and Accel World.

For me, it would probably be cost. While I have a laptop right now that has all those features except for battery life (already planning on getting a new battery) and touch screen, if the laptop that I got wasn't near the price range, I wouldn't even consider it. I have a Thinkpad x220 which has a core i5, 120GB SSD, 8GB RAM, IPS screen, and other stuff. Its extremely light as well. I highly recommend the Thinkpad x series as all of them are really high quality computers. Also, for anyone considering getting one, I would suggest you find a slightly used one on ebay instead of buying a new one, so then you can save over half of the original price. Just make sure that you find one that says it comes with a Windows license.

This anime completely lived up to my expectations. Also, Akane, is easily my favorite character. I wonder what she will try to do to increase her ratings above her sister while managing to stay away from cameras... Really look forward to seeing how next week's episode turns out.

[FLOAT_RIGHT] [/FLOAT_RIGHT] While very similar to the anime, it manages to capture the mood of the story better, and some of the characters feel a bit deeper than that of the anime. I'm only on chapter 7 right now, but as it seems, I'm already past the halfway point of the anime. I'm really curious on what happens next.

Hm... its a bit slow, but the characters are well made, and would definitely suggest watching it. I would say that the only real cliche with this anime is having an ignorant prince leave his home and finding that life outside the castle is nothing like what he expected. Even with this though, the MC is much more calm with decision making, so he doesn't get on your nerves at all. The main strength of this anime comes from the side characters though.

Surprisingly, this started out much better than what I was afraid it might. The MC is pretty good, but I can see why the other 4 might think he might not be the real one. Also, since there are 3 on the cover, I wonder what kind of personality the third girl will have. Lastly, I actually think this show will turn out better being one cour rather than two.

Hm... maybe I'm thinking of a different show then, I just know that the airing order and chronological order are different for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I thought that I had read somewhere that if you watch in airing order, then you won't have all of the endless eight back to back. My memory is probably wrong though, so forget I said anything.

Pretty good first episode. I absolutely love the MC, as its not often you get an MC that is out to do bad things. Anyway, it should be interesting to see how they will use their powers to stop the misuse of other people using their powers. Really look forward to the next episode.

Pretty good first episode. I kinda forgot this would be a space themed anime, and while that animation on that part left much to be desired, the transfer student has to be the best character of the anime.

The first episode was pretty good. I was glad they focused more on his military side rather than his otaku side. I'm guessing the commander gets killed since the synopsis says that Youji leads the group.

Definitely enjoyed the first episode. The introduction of the characters was really well done. I especially liked the part where Nicolas just kicked the car and told off that cop. I really look forward to seeing how Alex will play a role in the next episode.
