I usually watched animes like Dragon ball and Black Clover long seasons, But I really enjoyed Death Note and Parasyte. So, If you can recommend short seasons such as these it would help. Just Visit my Profile

Thought I would create a thread for members to share their favorites, opinions & observations about this past year’s anime if they’re so inclined. As for myself My 2022 Favorites (New) Birdie Wing (certainly not what I was expecting from a series about women’s golf. Some might find it too outlandish, but I thought it was a blast) My Dress Up Darling (the ecchi humor was uncomfortable in spots, but Gojo & Marin make a freak’n adorable couple & the final scene proved it) Spy x Family (very entertaining when on point, though the tone could be inconsistent, especially in the 2nd cour) Skeleton Night in Another World (went too far with the shock value of the opening scene, but Arc is a fun protagonist & Arianne makes a good partner for him. There’s also the potential for some interesting plot developments if it gets a 2nd season {fingers crossed} Raven of the Inner Palace (one of the best supernatural anime since Mushishi. And Shoxue has become one of my favorite tdundere). My 2022 Favorites (sequel/continuation) My Hero Academia 6 ( my Anime of the Year as it finally delivered some payoff after 2 disappointing seasons) Attack on Titan: Final Season part 2 (it ‘s taken 10 years, but the stage has been set for the final showdown in one of anime’s most influential series) Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc (way too many ass pulls in that final battle, but still plenty of awesome moments) Shadows House 2 (provided some much needed answers in one of the better supernatural suspense anime. Now we just need a season 3 confirmed) Mob Psycho 100 III (a bit tame after how crazy the previous seasons got. But nonetheless a satisfying & heartfelt send off for Mob & Reigen) Honorable Mentions Dr. Stone Ryuusui special episode (got me hyped for the upcoming season) Golden Kamuy 4 (put on hiatus halfway through after a staff member passed away. Supposed to re-air/resume Spring 2023) Spriggan (remake/expansion of a 1998 OVA) Isekai Ojisan (waiting for Netflix to release the rest of the season) Isekai Quartet: The Movie (just a lot of fun seeing these characters in a more upbeat & comedic setting than their standard series) Disappointments (IMO) Science Fell in Love, so I Tried to Prove It 2 (felt off from season 1 from the get go & the final episode was FUBAR. Going to do my best to forget it’s existence so it doesn’t sour the pleasant memories I have of season 1) Rising of the Shield Hero 2 (some pretty important stuff actually happened, but didn’t didn’t really connect emotionally & actually felt boring) Princess Connect ReDive 2 (season 1 was funny while also delivering some feelz. Season 2 focused too much on wanting to be taken seriously. Danmachi 4 (too predictable & tried too hard to hype Bell as a character) Call of the Night (unlikable characters) Over Rated (IMO) Chainsaw Man (hyped by it’s fandom as the GOAT. Then tried to say it gets better later. Now apparently some fans are calling for it to be redone from the beginning. It would be easy for me to say it’s just not my sort of series, but Dorohedoro & Gleipnir have similar elements & I actually enjoyed them) Kaguya-sama Ultra Romantic (primarily due to a faction of MAL members’ efforts to make it the #1 ranked anime OF ALL TIME. Currently ranked as #3 overall on MAL) {eyeroll} Cyberpunk Edgerunners (another example of me not having the love for Trigger’s style a lot of anime fans do) Bocchi the Rock (sorry, but I personally don’t even consider it to be the Fall Season’s best slice-of-life CGDCT series)

For me, it's probably Sword Art Online. I can't stand "power fantasy" characters (or characters with no personality, for that matter), I don't like how we're never given a reason why Kayaba trapped 2,000 people inside a death game, and I think it's really insensitive that Reki Kawahara used rape as a "this-character-is-a-bad-guy-hate-him-hate-him" signal twice. What about you guys? Have you got any anime you can't stand?

First up was a classic. That one was Soul Eater! My first time ever watching it actually. (What was I doing in my teen/preteen years that I was missing out on something as cool as this anime!) Comparing it to FF, it's both easy and hard to tell this was the same guy! Anyway, it was fun and all the characters had cool designs, especially Death the Kid. Pretty much back to back(If I'm using this term correctly) I watched both Spy X Family and Chainsaw Man. Spy X Family, though it was cute, I can't say it was really my favorite. Don't get me wrong, there were multiple things about I enjoyed, such as Anya interacting with her peers, but again, I'm generally not a huge slice of life person(There are a few others under the genre I do enjoy though). I will watch season 2 though and maybe even the upcoming movie. Now Chainsaw Man, that was pure wildness, and I adored it! Both Denji and Power were hilarious. Plus Who forget little Pochita? And now, I'm watching Odd Taxi.

Hi there! Partner here. I am really hoping that someone in this amazing anime community can help me. I really loved the anime that I am trying to find... I'm quite annoyed with myself that I forgot what it was called.. It was my teenage hood favorite. The anime is quite old. I am gonna say I probably watched it 2015-2017 (maybe older). It was about this boy in an all boys school, goes on a school trip. An all girls school ends up on the same trip. There loads of funny comedy and drama between this guy and his 2 friends vs the girls (quite a few female characters). Slowly all the girls become very fond of him over time. You get to know majority of the female character. That's not the main story. The main story is that this girl from the future come back in time and appears on the school bus and in the girls uniform. No one knows where she came from but assumes she was there the whole time but did not notice. She comes back in time to be with the main boy character.. as they were lovers in another life. They eventually fall in love again and remember their past life together. Their first life together isn't really shown much. they get a second chance! The universe does not approve of their second chance. He gets hurt and the only way to save him is for her to go back to the future. he will forget her again. Which is how it ends. there was also a side story about this place on the school trip about this lady who waited for her husband to return and he never did. Famous cliff monument. The anime had a lot going on in it... - school trip boy and girls drama + comedy - romance and crushes - Lovers reincarnated and reunited with a second chance. - Old cliff side story Any help finding this old anime would be appreciated. None of my friends can seem to find it

Hallo! Looking for something like “slice of life” games with atmosphere of depression ;despondency(especially when it’s more about like “city life”), for example like VN Valhalla(definitely not the saddest game , but some atmosphere of despondency it has). Also some jrpg horrors will be good too, but only if their story more about the life of character and when main location is an actual city. Visual novel will be good too, but only if their gameplay deeper then reading and sometimes choosing the path, that you will go. And last thing - year, not very important, just want to say, that I will prefer something that was created before 2021-2022.

so it is about a family moving england if i am not wrong from japan. i believe it was for better job opportunities after war. they are family of 5 or 6 including mother fayher two or three sisters idk. the oldest sister has a love interest on this boy who also happens to be there. the two youngest sisters are pretty bold and mean. for the first few episodes they live in beach shore in tent. they plan on moving to a new house soon. i only watched like few ep and after that yhe site i watch watching crashed and now idk where to find. also if i am correct one if the character name is something like lucy. please help me find it. also the cover pafe of anime is two sisters and their pet. it is not a popular anime. and if u guys know then please tell me if there is any website where i can find anime woth description.

Hi everyone, I was looking through the forums last night and from what I can see there aren't really any proper reviews thread on this site. (If I'm mistaken than mods feel free to delete this thread). Anyway the idea of this topic is to leave as many reviews as you wish about the last anime you watched and what you thought about it personally. Attack On Titan Season 1 (2013) - I gave the first four episodes a watch a while ago and enjoyed it quite a bit, but I wasn't entirely sure on why it was surrounded by so much hype. However recently I decided to go back and check out the rest of the season and HOLY SHIT IT WAS GREAT! I finally understood where everyone else was coming from. Each episode has an awesome cliffhanger that makes it nearly impossible to not watch the next episode straight away. I thought a lot of the characters were pretty cool and memorable and while I'm not usually a massive fan of pure-action anime this is an exception. Only slight issue I have with this season is that It did feel a bit reptitive after a while and that it dragged on slightly. Favourite Episode: Episode 25 Worst Episode: Episode 16 Overall Rating: 9/10

I just finished series and movie and I searched but couldn't get the exact answers I was looking for so please just tell me some things How did Mirai come back after dying? In the starting of second movie Mirai clearly had her memories at first but after meeting Akihito she lost it, why? Who is Kanbara Yayoi, how she knows everything and what is the actual relationship of her with Akihito? (we got a hint saying she is the gatekeeper and is ancient) And who are these three people at the end of Mirai-hen? (From the looks of it left one is Izumi but who are other two?)

I've never really used a forum board like this before, but lately I've felt like I really need to talk to more people. I've just graduated high school and I'm kind of struggling to adapt to a new lifestyle, and while I do have friends that I still talk to from high school, I haven't really made a new friend since pre-covid.
