That's what I did when my apps worked. Now though I just hope there's already a pre-made one I can find of the characters I have in mind. lol

Have you made sure the Google store is updated to the most recent version? It will get stuck on pending downloads if not. 

If the image is good I can make a render from it.

Yeah, I always make sure everything is updated that can be updated. I'm not really sure why it and the apps I downloaded from it won't load anymore though. It's like they just wanted to not cooperate anymore. lol

I'll try to find good images of B2 and 9S and see if you think you'll be able to. ^^

It's possible you don't have the space required on your computer, some people don't realize when they are out of space.
Textures are what you use for the background on a sig/tag or graphics art. 
I can make renders from this, I will work on it today and let you know when finished.

I don't think that's the reason. Out of 50 gig storage there's 37 gig still available. It's probably going to be another problem I'll never solve at this point. lol I appreciate the help though. Can you think of any other reason(s)?
Ohhhhh, ok. I just called them backgrounds. lol I wonder now if anyone thought I wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer for repeatedly calling it that. I'm really not, so it wouldn't be overly hurtful if anyone did, but I do wonder about that now.

Basic troubleshooting steps are making sure cache/cookies are deleted, reinstalling Chrome, powerwash/restart/reset up entire Chromebook, making sure all updates are installed, disable/reenable Google app. Chromebooks are fickle and a lot of people have this issue, sometimes it takes all or a combination of these steps to fix it.

I don't know if I want to actually go through all of those steps to use apps again, but I'll see how much I want to use them or not. I've already reset the Chromebook quite a few times because of some issues, so it's not a very appealing thought after repeatedly doing it. I might still try it though since mom and dad bought me another 1 TB storage drive to use with it, so I could just temporarily transfer files to it then back again after it's done. I'll try to do it at some point though because I do miss being able to use the apps. Thanks for the advice, too. ^^

 

Ok, so, my new project of B2 and 9S from Nier Automata. I found pretty big gif that was 5 MG, but since the avatar limit on here is 1.49MB I had to get a little creative with cutting some frames, reducing the quality a smidge, and some resizing experimentation to try to get it under that limit. Luckily, it didn't get too small before I found a configuration for it to fit. ^^ Here are the results from my project of B2 and 9S from Nier Automata, the 2 androids with a bit of a forlorn, star-crossed love:

Thank you~ ^^ I wouldn't have been able to make the sig if @Sasuke hadn't done that huge favor for me to turn those 3 pics into renders. The male androids is 9S by the way, and the female android is B2. The 3rd pic of the android female I haven't used yet is in one (maybe two) of the later stories in Nier Automata known at "Route C" which is just the 3rd story of the game that's apparently through her point of view and about her, but I'm still on Route A, which is 2B's story I think. So, when I get to using A2 in Route C of the game I'll make a set using her. 

Oh, and the avy is a scene that happens after getting to the end of the Prologue while playing as 2B. Both 2B and 9S self-destruct their black boxes in order to destroy the remaining enemies in order to complete the mission. Fortunately, YoRHa (who makes the android bodies and manages every android's data) can just make another android body if one dies or self-destructs via black box detonation, so that self-destruction from the final scene in 2B's Prologue is meant to happen. There's literally no other way to progress the story. lol It's sad, but romantic, too. Experiencing the full Prologue says more, but that would've been a little more difficult to fit within the file size limit of avatars on here. ^^;

Saying things like "2B" and "9S" makes me think of apartment numbers XD  My Fiance @Sasuke is at least useful for some things like render making or texture creating but he dropped me off a cliff earlier because I wouldn't stop talking about pies. The avy is cool though I like thatttttt

lol The letters are short for what android types they are. B type YoRHa androids are battle types that excel in fighting. S types are scanner types which I don't really know the full expertise of, but they do specialize in hacking, too. I think scanner types are usually used for reconnaissance because 9S said something along those lines when he talked to 2B when they were sent to the surface again after the Prologue. I think the base is on the moon, or in some kind of living space orbiting the moon... I'll need to unlock more of the Archives to read those and find out, which can be done through quests and possibly story progression. Maybe just quests. I'll find out one way or another. lol Kind of mean to drop one's fiance off of a cliff though. o.o It's kind of funny actually, but it's still mean. XD I started watching his DA and he's watching mine, too. ^^ Thanks though about the avy~ ^^ The first time I saw that scene a part of me was wondering if I actually did something wrong. rofl

I dropped you off a cliff because you kept daring me to drop you off then threatened me with bodily harm. I'm not going to to carry around a person threatening to beat me with a stick

That first part made my morning. lol Thanks for the offer to do future renders, too. ^^ Is it important when making a render to have a defined edge of the character(s) or would that not necessarily be the case? I've only tried to make a render using pictures with a white background like those 3, but that was with the Background Eraser app. lol I've only tried 1 render that didn't have a clear edge to some of it (or at least not one that could easily be seen) which was the only Turles render I've ever made. Apparently I still missed a small portion of white from the background in it at the top of his head, but it really was painstaking, even with Background Eraser. It's on my DA, but I definitely wish I would've done a better job with it, but since it was my first render that took I don't even know how long to make, I don't think it's a total chop or anything. If the texture is just right in a sig, I can manage to make it blend in and go unnoticed, like one depicting outer space. ^^

Yeah, and Chromebooks seem really temperamental in particular when something goes wrong to fix. I might actually try to do those steps at some point, but these days I don't feel up to doing a lot of things. At least recently.

Being on a white background makes the process 110% easier because it'll only involve a couple clicks of the selection tool on Photoshop. The more complicated the background, the longer it's going to take. Using selection/delete on Photoshop is usually how I do it which gets rid of most of the background, then I clean it up with zooming in and erasing what's left. It can take awhile depending on what you start with.

That's what it seemed like, but I'm glad someone that's been making renders as long as you seem to have actually verified what I only assumed based on that 1 experience. I'm still not entirely sure how to use the selection tool in Photopea though. It's kind of close to Gimp (I think, I haven't used that one in a long while), but it's definitely kind of its own at the same time. So far I've just learned from experimenting with the different functions various images and a YouTube video about how to make gifs in it. I haven't found any real thorough instructions anywhere about how to use each individual function in it, so I used to look for tutorial videos for it. Until mom noticed our available monthly data kept getting depleted a little earlier than usual. lol I did also try to watch DBZ: Battle of the Gods online, too, which got her pretty mad. I wasn't expecting that kind of reaction from her though. I'm glad I was eventually able to get that movie, Resurrection "F", and DBS: Super Hero. I've read that they intend to release more movies as well as more episodes in the series, and I most likely won't be able to keep buying the new movies at this rate. That's frustrating. ><

I have never made a render in Gimp but I figure it's not much different than PS. I can't say for Photopea since I've never used that program. I would have thought they would have instructions on how to use it on their website.

They do, but it doesn't get as detailed as it probably should be. I still didn't know what certain functions did even after reading their instructions. Or somewhere with instructions that weren't very helpful. I can't remember clearly, but I think it was some official website of theirs.
