YUSSSS I have had too many lost works  I have gotten in the habit of doing a few things and then just clicking "save" because I've gone through making a whole sig and losing several hours of work before.

On both of these @Sarada started them, I did the middle work, she added the font/text and I finished them up. So with BOTH of the below I didn't do them on my own and can only take half credit

Thanks We will be doing more collabs in the future now that I suck less than I used to at it.

 

Nice work to you both, your styles suit collabing with each other but I suspect that's because Serey taught you how to GFX Lillie lol. I want to see some more and as far as your comments go I don't see any flaws in either of them.

Thanks you guys for the comments about our collabs. I'm glad they were enjoyed. I'll be setting up a showcase sometime this week or next weekend, when I can find the time, and feature them there as well and any upcoming collabs too.

I've seen some of your work and it's F'ing amazing so I really want to see this showcase.

Anywho.. update.. I don't really like this AT ALL though. I think it came out totally awful and I'm embarrassed by it. I wasn't really feeling inspired to do it all but I told him I would make it but I just couldn't find any motivation to do it x.x I went back to my old C4D usage style because it's easiest to do when I don't know what to do. His username is Player and his clan is Nijyuu Shoutai which is where the text comes from.

Anywho.. update.. I don't really like this AT ALL though. I think it came out totally awful and I'm embarrassed by it. I wasn't really feeling inspired to do it all but I told him I would make it but I just couldn't find any motivation to do it x.x I went back to my old C4D usage style because it's easiest to do when I don't know what to do. His username is Player and his clan is Nijyuu Shoutai which is where the text comes from. 

 

Why do you hate it? I think it looks perfect. What did he think about it?

I think it looks fine. If he likes it that's all that counts isn't it? The colors and use of C4D is excellent imo.

So @Sarada started it, I feel like she did more than I did. The parts I did were adding the diamonds in the background, the circles on the side with the dotted lines, I did a few color overlay layers, edited some of the colors, and added the color backgrounds behind the main render. The rest is mostly credited to her and I (think) she uses this style a lot in her works so she's perfected it and I feel like I messed it up but all in all I'm happy with the outcome ~ 

For her part she's the one that added the main render, the text/font choices, the splatter brush with the Ciel image in it, the text added in the splatter, the box in the background with the picture, all the lighting effects are hers, the textures on the background pic in the boxes she added, the xxx at the bottom, and several gradient layers.

Well done @Sarada and @Sakura that's an amazing good piece of work everything fits together so well.  I especially like the way the shades of blue in the main image are contrasted by the monochrome circles. An altogether excellent colab.

I still wish I knew what was wrong with the background and how we messed that up.

I don't think that the background looks messed up it looks fine to me.

Something happened with the PSD. This was originally a transparent background but a weird black box kept showing up over it unless you put a white bg on it. We removed every single layer and the ghost black square was still there even with nothing existing on the PSD.
