I wrote a thing..

I wrote something, just getting a few things out of my mind and on paper helps to deal with them.
I don't really try to rhyme when I write, I just write what I feel. 

The first teardrop that hits the ground,
Falling silently without a sound.

It's an awakening from within,
That something terrible, or possibly beautiful,
Is about to begin.

This silent teardrop that falls without a sound,
I watch it as it hits the ground.

Its icy sting as it falls from my eyes,
Is the hearts silent reminder to the wise,
"If you fall again, it'll be your own demise."

If I were smart,
I'd take my heart right now and depart.

After all, I never gave it to you anyway,
It's not like you're on my mind every hour of every day.
So maybe there's still time to snap myself out of this daze,
To rescue my heart from what's sure to be a confusing maze.

But I always tell myself to run,
But I figure when you do, You fall twice as hard as you would've when you'd begun.

So I'll stand right here, unbeknownst to you,
That these feelings that I like you are starting to come into view,
And how much I wish and hope that you feel it too.

The first teardrop that hits the ground,
The one that falls silently without a sound,
It's because when you close your eyes, He's all you can see,
And you don't know if with you, He'll ever want to be.

Also thank you all  I'm glad you liked reading it. I want to try to write again but I think most of my writing time goes towards school papers these days.

This is very well written. I remember when you wrote a lot of poetry back on N-A forums, and those waffle kingdom stories lol
