PFFFFTTT I wish I had seen that. When was this? I haven't heard this story 🤣

Many years ago lol It was 2015 around that time I believe. We had a big ice storm where I had lived and everything was hard to get around in.

I vaguely remember hearing about this. It sounded something more like @Sakura would have happen to her lmao

I love the snow. I have always preferred cold temperatures and snow just makes it better. It’s beautiful to look at aside from when it gets dirty and slushy. I don’t mind driving in the snow at all even if it’s falling heavily.

I find snow very pretty to look at and I love how it makes everything sound.
The snow we get here though is super wet and heavy, so it can actually be pretty terrible to be in. And the amount of rain we get usually makes quick work with turning it all into an ugly, slushy mess haha

I saw a lot of snow when I lived in Utah for a bit but we don't see much of it in Phoenix. Love it if we did tho fr be nice to have it just a few days outta the year as long as I don't have to shovel snow haha

There's no such thing as snow in FL--bahaha. I grew up in NJ, though, so I vaguely remember what snow is like. It's nice to look at and play in, and makes you feel real cozy at night while you're snuggled up in some warm blankets. But from what I recall, it was a nightmare for my parents when they had to get up in the morning for work. Salting the doorsteps and driveway with salt, shoveling it out the way, so on and so forth.

It seems more like a hassle if anything. 🤣

Snow is very pretty to look at, but the snow we get here is super incredibly heavy and wet wet wet.
I remember my first winter in Niagara Falls and being absolutely blown away by the fact the snow there is light enough to be blown around in the breeze. Absolutely unheard of.

But, either way, I believe snow should stay UP ON THE MOUNTAINS WHERE IT BELONGS. I’m surrounded by mountains galore, I can observe happily from down here tyvm

I love snow and i also love cold weather. Which i would rather prefer more right now, than this stupid annoying warm climate we currently have here in Germany. I hope next winter it will not only get much colder, but also that there will be more snow here. Even though this year it snowed sometimes, but it still wasn't enough which i found very disappointing. But maybe next winter, i will see more snow here in Bielefeld again. :)

I'm a snow person although I prefer looking at it as opposed to being in it in most cases. Walking in wet snow isn't really fun but skiing or doing Winter sports is enjoyable.

Walking in wet snow is the equivalent of walking in the rain but with the added bonus of you can't feel your feet anymore :V

I like the snow! I don't like the extreme cold that comes along with it but fresh snow is pretty and makes everything feel clean and fresh.

I don't like walking in it either that's a good point. It's really awful when it turns to that dirty slush mix and you have to wear waterproof boots to get around anywhere outside.

I hate when the snow turns into that brown blackish looking slushie stuff (⊙︿⊙✿) They always pile the snow up in those big mountains such as parking lots and it gets dirty and nasty and sits there for weeks before it melts down. It just looks so disgusting.

I know what you guys mean ⬆️ They do that with snow here too like pile it up in those big huge piles and it basically looks like giant piles of dirt everywhere because the snow gets so dirty and almost black ._. Then ya, it takes ages to melt x.x

They did that everywhere in Chicago ╚(•⌂•)╝

Can confirm :V

I hate the way they push it all into piles that somehow always block sidewalks more too. I don't see that much in direct downtown but for sure in the neighborhoods.

Every few years we get a huge dump of snow, it’s not anything new or unexpected.

The last time we had it, though, you would’ve thought the people in charge had never seen snow or heard of snow removal in their life. They did such a horrible job that a lot of people had to stay home due to mobility issues because almost none of the sidewalks were cleared, the ones that were cleared only had teeny tiny narrow paths you could hardly walk through (nevermind if you had a stroller or a walker or a mobility scooter), and *all* of the crosswalks had big piles of snow right in the middle of them where your choice was either to climb over it or walk into traffic.

It was honestly a disgrace and it makes me worried about the next time we get a lot of snow. The incompetence is astounding.

Here in West London we don't get snow very often, heavy snow even less, I think the last snow we had was 2021. As a result the authorities have very little in the way of snow clearance equipment so when we do get a really heavy snowfall everything sort of stops.

We had to pretty much scale giant dirty mountains of snow when we went out walking here this past Winter because every sidewalk was blocked. It made it harder when the mountains turned into giant ice blocks.
