Anyone here read comic books?

From Marvel to DC and others, I think we may have read a few.

But myself, I've been reading the new TMNT run. Jason Aaron's run is set to end at issue 12, with issue 13 having Gene Luen Yang as the writer. Heard mostly good things about his work, but I thought Jason Aaron would last longer. Enjoyed Jason Aaron's run, but I saw some criticize it. I say read it and judge for yourself.

I used to read Sonic, but I have fallen behind on it. I prefer to follow the games these days.

Comics were my obsession in the 80s & 90s prior to being overtaken by anime. Primarily Spiderman & X-men titles, but also enjoyed alternative titles like Bone by Jeff Smith & Elfquest by Wendy & Richard Pini. Pretty much stopped following in the early 2000s though I still enjoy a lot of superhero & comic inspired movies & tv. And miss the days of hanging out with fellow “nerds” at comic shops & arcades.

I have a few, never got super into comics tho, I always felt that tankōbon volumes were more substantial so I mostly just got those, though I do have a couple western comics in graphic novel form which I prefer

I do like the new fifth turtle. 

 

Why do they feel the need to wear masks? The rat doesn't even wear one.
