    Love letters

I've had text based relationships online, but all the letters I got were anonymous I did write a book called Valentine Charming's Love Letter of Doom https://www.amazon.com/dp/1976544319?lv=shuf&channelId=520&plpRedirect=mhFallback
  9. Yeah, I can understand that. The App Store is definitely the simpler option, especially when you want to avoid compatibility or installation issues. Thanks for sharing your experience!
  10. aww thank you !!! wanna be friends ?!!!
  11. I used an emulator on my phone to play it, but I didn't like how it worked, so I prefer playing games from the app store instead.
  12. But did you write one, and is it mostly popular if you got more than one love letter?
  13. I mostly view popular anime as counting toward the Big Three. But as anime became shorter and it became hard to tell what the Big Three were, things changed very fast.
  14. A scar on the back is a swordsman’s shame.” - Roronoa Zoro (One Piece)
  15. Hey everyone, I’ve been getting more into mobile games lately, especially titles with anime-style characters and gameplay. I mostly use an iPhone, so I’m curious about what other members here are playing on iOS. I recently came across Delta X on iOS and wanted to ask if anyone here has tried it. I’m mainly interested in how it works on different iPhone models and iOS versions. Do you usually stick with games from the App Store, or do you explore other options too? I’ve seen people discuss different ways to access mobile games, but I’m always a bit careful with third-party apps. If you’ve used Delta X, how was your experience with it? Any compatibility or installation issues worth knowing about? Would be interested to hear what fellow anime and mobile gaming fans think.

    Love letters

Who here thinks they can compose and post a love letter? Put it up right here.
  17. In 1981 I was a junior in HS. (A 2nd year student for those unfamiliar with US customs.) "Stagflation" - a new term back then - was in full swing, with high unemployment, high inflation, stagnant wages, and the world economies still reeling from the second big oil shock in 79-80. In July '81 the US officially entered the deepest "recession" (depression) since the end of WWII even as Treasury yields went over 15%, and mortgages over 18% Even the official numbers were dismal. Inflation at over 12%. The prime rate over 20%. Unemployment over 9%. “Reaganomics” and its “trickle down” policies were promising budget cutbacks in most government social safety-net programs even as the breakdown in détante brought higher “defense” spending to the US and other NATO countries in Europe. Oh, and don't forget the deregulation of the bankster industry. All in aid of Joe Sixpack and his family of course. Stop me if any of this sounds familiar. The rest of the world was doing even worse. Cold-war tensions were at all-time highs. A common topic of conversation at lunch was what "number" your city was. New York had to be number one, but Los Angeles had quite a few high-value military targets due to its concentration of aerospace/defense industry, naval facilities, air bases, and logistics infrastructure. It had to be in the top ten as well. Heck, it might get several slots. The "number" of course being the position in the list of targets for Soviet ICBMs. The Soviets had invaded Afghanistan in 79 and were fighting a war of attrition there. Polish workers, united in their "Solidarity" movement, challenged Soviet control of their country and were harshly repressed by their own puppet government. The brutal Iran-Iraq War continued. Egyptian President Anwar Sadat was assassinated. Israel took over the Golan Heights. Someone tried to assassinate Pope John Paul II. I bought the "Escape" album with "Don't Stop Believin'" on it just before I graduated in '82. Welcome to adulthood. Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi Somehow I/we survived until late 1990 when The Scorpions released their "Wind of Change". Appropriately enough for the time the album was called "Crazy World". In 1989 the Berlin Wall had come down. In 1991 the Soviet Union collapsed, essentially ending the Cold War and making this song an instant chart-topper.
  18. So what about all the little things they add without prompting?
  19. I don’t think models have "talent" in the human sense—talent implies intentionality, taste, and emotional experience. What models have is immense latent pattern memory from training data. Where it gets genuinely interesting creatively is moving past purely descriptive text prompts and into multi-reference workflows (image-to-image conditioning). When you anchor an initial rough compositional sketch, feed in a separate lighting/palette reference, and carefully tune transformation strength to keep your character's silhouette intact while testing aesthetic variations, the "creative weight" shifts back onto human art direction. If a person just rolls random seeds from a vague one-sentence prompt, the model is making 95% of the aesthetic decisions. But when you treat generative tools like a flexible rendering or colorway sandbox that strictly follows your structural blockout, it behaves much more like a power-assisted camera or custom digital brush than an autonomous artist.
  20. Immortality, unrestricted control over the known universe, and to hear that all of my enemies have died in a series of highly unlikely yet hilarious accidents than can in no way be traced back to me.
  21. Do Not Click on this Shiny Red Candy-like button which seems to whisper "Push me" Did you click on it? Answer yes, no, or sorry I wasn't listening to the instructions, I was too busy clicking on the button.
