  1. It's a little bit cloudy, but dry and seems a bit warmer than yesterday. Not that that's saying much as the temp is still in single figures.
  2. That expression says they're not happy about having to wear a pink crash hat with bunny ears on it.
  3. What's a perfect gift for a person who has everything? Storage space !
  4. When I was working I took the train. The London traffic is seriously bad and all day parking, if you can find any, can be staggeringly expensive.
  5. Welcome to AF, pulll up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and make yourself at home.
  6. Today I decided to have a break from watching new series on CR and watch some of my old favourites from my DVD collection. So I'm currently watching the wonderful and highly enjoyable little slice of life series Someday's Dreamers which has beautiful artwork, animation and soundtrack along with a great cast of characters.
  7. I quite like Golden Time and think that the car crash incident and its aftermath was fine, but I think that ghost Banri is annoying and unnecessary.
  8. That will definitely improve your Outlook on the case.
  9. My late mother had a liking for different type of tea. On one occasion while on a training course the conference centre had lots of individual packets of various types of tea, so I liberated one of each and my mother had great fun trying them all out. For myself I prefer plain ordinary decaf tea.
  10. I never have sugar in my tea, it makes it far too sweet for me.
  11. Which is better than not enough shows to watch. There's so much good stuff available now,
  12. I'm sure you will Excel in your quest.
  13. I finished watching Horimiya this evening. I wasn't too sure about it when I started, but it grew on me . I thought the artwork and animation were good, and the characters all had different and interesting personalities although I did feel that some of the characters were a bit too similar so I sometimes had difficulty working out who was who. Overall I found it a highly enjoyable series, and I do like a happy ending .
  14. It's bright and sunny, while still cold it's not as cold as it was. Hopefully Spring is finally springing.
  15. Did you hear about the guy who woke up one morning and found his hall full of planes? He left his landing light on all night.
  16. Gall Force: New Era was one of the earliest anime series I watched, on VHS of course. When DVDs came out one of the on-line mail order suppliers was offering Eternal Story for a bargain price. Later on I bought the rest of the series. Overall I think Enteral Story is the best with the others being fairly decent but nothing spectacular. Armitage III I quite liked, but along with Polymatrix, the movie, I don't think its really stood the test of time as well as some other series from that time. Riding Bean was fun to watch, but like you I think it's a shame we didn't get more of Bean's adventures. I seem to recall that there was a connection between Riding Bean and Gunsmith Cats, which I also liked. But when I started reading the Gunsmith Cats manga I realised that the storylines were much darker than the anime version.
  17. I started watching Horimiya this evening. Seems like a fun series. I can sort of relate to Miyamura as quite often at school I was the guy no one wanted in their group.
  18. Welcome aboard. Pull up a cushion, or a chair if sitting on the floor isn't your thing, and make yourself at home.
  19. The snow has gone , but it's now raining and it's still cold.
  20. Yes, Eru Chitanda is a great character. Born into a prestigious family she has a refined, dignified and very 'proper' demeanour, until something piques her interest then she becomes a nosy hyper-active person who just HAS to know the answers.
  21. I finished watching Hyouka this evening, it's a series about four friends in their high school classic lit club who spend their time investigating and solving mysteries. The mysteries aren't anything major, mostly just the little odd occurrences that happen and arouse the curiosity of the club members and make them want to solve them. The mysteries themselves are quite well presented and thought out. The members of the club all have different personalities and are well drawn and animated, as are the backgrounds. The sound track is interesting because a lot of it is in a soft classical style and at lot of it sounds very much like pieces of music that I know, but before I could identify them they change very slightly and become something else. Overall I found this to be an interesting and enjoyable series to watch.
  22. This morning I woke up to find that it snowed overnight. Not a lot of snow, but it's still snow!
