  1. Not really helpful to the discussion of this topic, but nope, I haven't watched Xros wars. I heard from others that you cannot really compare it with the first four seasons of Digimon as it is not as good as those..
  2. You're not old, you're YOUNG. '96 is like five years younger than me :O I think most of us here grew up watching animes, yup yup. Oh and another Australian, that's nice. I am not sure why but... Ghibli? Not to say that I don't like him. His works are good, but I'd recommend Makoto Shinkai over him anyday! Forums are forums, they are all the same, animes or non-anime forums. I prefer problem-based questions over essay questions, so yeah, you have another essay hater here in me I avoid Kpop. No particular reason really. I just avoid it. It has become too mainstream, I guess. oh and, ohai Sharron and welcome. Have a nice time here.
  3. I guess mine was some random story site which I hosted on Geocities...
  4. I voted white, but if there is an "other" or "I don't know" option, I would have chosen that lol
  5. I will be home alone tomorrow. My housemates will be going to town. I will be training my ZEN tomorrow in MapleStory. Ugh.
  6. Japan? Those capsule rooms would be cheaper, no?
  7. I voted for others. I would prefer the mascot to be a human. You know, something like Mirai Suenaga or Kairin or Wikipe-tan.
  8. I do what I like to do, like watching animes. Whether I am talented at it, god knows. In my opinion, whether you are 'talented' at something depends on whether other people has that 'talent' as well. If everybody has that 'talent', then it is not a 'talent'. To the crippled, walking is a talent, if you get what I mean. To me, I do what I like to do. I have someone who told me that I have a talent in watching anime. He told me that he does not have the patience to just sit in front of the computer and just watch. But I don't consider that a talent, just something I like to do. :\
  9. I disagree. I see that 999 has managed to instill fear in the players at an early stage of the game all the way from the kidnapping of the player at the start with a sleeping gas (lol) to being put into a sinking ship which will fully submerge within 9 hours leaving you to drown to death, and to where it was announced bombs were inserted into the stomach of everyone and the bomb will explode if anyone makes a wrong move through the doors and fails to deactivate the timer behind the doors after entering it. However, serious fear actually starts the moment Nine was dead and that everyone realised that the bomb is a serious and not just a mere threat. The endings are just lunatic, not really scary. I find the Clover axe ending rather lame. :3
  10. Steins;Gate is epic. Period. If the movie ever gets release in any theater or cinema near me, I'll pay to go watch it!
  11. I'm currently playing the following online games, albeit not that actively: MapleStory, Diablo III, NFS: World. All on the PC. Mainly to destress. XP
  12. Saya no Uta. 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.
  13. Ooh... I see your point. But so far, I don't consider playing sports and reading my law books satisfying. They're tiring and boring and dry. D:
  14. 2 Terrabytes is humongous. I have one 300MB external hdd which I have bought like 5 years ago and it is still working fine, although sometimes I have to delete stuff from it. :\
  15. In my opinion, it is important for the story to not be so predictable in its plot. In other words, the suspense has to be there. A plot which has been recycled many times won't make a good story. Besides that, the characters is also important. If you can get your readers to love or hate a certain character, then you have succeeded.
  16. I took Singapore Airlines while coming back to Malaysia from the UK. The Chinese air steward talked to me in a heavy Singlish slang that I automatically turned into using Singlish as well lol. and I find it very much like home, which is a good feeling. I normally take AirAsia whenever and wherever I fly within Malaysia. Malaysia Airlines is just too expensive, and for the standards of their service and food? Nah, I'd prefer to pay more for those in AirAsia.
  17. I watch animes and sleep. I don't consider any of my other activities my hobbies. They're tiring D:

    McDonald's

    1. like once every 2 weeks to 2 months? 2. GCB (whatever it stands for), Prosperity Burger, etc. 3. Spicy Chicken McDeluxe for its large piece of chicken breast filet in the burger. Real chicken breast meat, not processed nugget meat. I'd like lamb burger as well in my country... @Xin: well, there's also no bacon in McDs in Malaysia. I think because it is not halal and that's why it is not in any of the burgers...
  19. Hi Knas! Welcome! Ignore the Nazi comments about your previous screen names, I'd call these people Nazis (like "grammar nazis" who insists that something must be correct or go according to their way). and Nao is fine too.
  20. Ooh, I like chicken curry too. With rice especially. I also like Curry Katsudon. As for green curry, I am good with it too. anything meat is fine to me ahaha!
  21. 999 was one of the games which gave me a deep strong impression. Not many NDS games actually deal with gore and killings and therefore it is somewhat a fresh experience for me when I played it on my NDS lite. On the other hand I have never played Ever 17 but have always wanted to since I have heard about it from... somewhere I don't remember after playing 999. I think I should be looking at it soon enough.
  22. Two groups of people at the state where I stay created parodies for the song. I am initially pretty impressed, but later I got a bit annoyed and thought that they were nothing special....
