I get quite giddy whenever I'm shown something in math that makes things in the past that I just had to accept as truth actually make sense. I remember one day in particular my teacher showed us how a certain formula was derived and I squealed in excitement. Everybody in the class laughed at me xP All 9 of my classmates.
What major?
Due to my obsession with math, I'm constantly finding real life applications of trig and Calculus. Whenever I see a round object, my first two thoughts are: "I wonder what the slope of a line tangent to that curve is?" and "I wonder what the area of that curve is?" I then typically proceed to calculate it Whenever I see a triangle of any kind, I start trying to calculate the length of the sides and the area
Of course my profession requires it My plan is to be a math teach on a college level. Probably not University though. More like Community College.
Whenever I tell somebody that I'm a math major, their face gets contorted and they say, " WHY????" I just love math!
