I gotta be me (no one else wanted the job)
In all seriousness, I never pretend to be something I'm not, but a lot of things I don't show until I feel more comfortable.

Shiki would be my favorite with Hellsing Ultimate getting honorable mention.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I LOVE several of CLAMP's series including CCS, so a crossover series starring teenaged representations of Sakura & Syaoran sounded like a dream come true. After slogging through 52 episodes and a handful of OVAs, I can't think of a single positive thing to say about it. Dull and uninteresting from beginning to end.
I largely feel the same way about Clear Card. Though somewhat forewarned thanks to Tsubasa, it spent the majority of it's 22 episodes saying "Hey remember that time when <insert memorable moment from the original series>? Wasn't that cool?" While doing very little that was memorable or cool itself. And then at the end it was like "Oops, we're out of time. We'll need to have another season greenlit before we can finish the story." . They could've condensed the interesting parts into a 90 - 120 minute movie easily
Also. PO'd is too strong a word, but despite enjoying Soul Eater quite a bit, it had one of the biggest anti-climaxes for an ending of any series I've seen. I get what they were trying to say with it, but still very unsatisfying for me,
As far as something about the anime industry in general that pisses me off, it's when OVA/Specials don't get licensed despite the fact the series has been. Case in point, I don't usually resort to pirate sites, but for the My Hero Academia, Yuru Camp & Konosuba OVA/Specials, I made an exception. And I still would like to see them included on the physical releases (or a physical release at all for Konosuba & Yuru Camp)

Last week's episode (11) didn't do a whole lot for me (despite Shion's hawhtness). But I really enjoyed this week's (episode 12) and am looking forward to the big battle. I totally hate Gabiru, though. Try to excuse it as pride all you want, he's still a jerk & an idiot. If he survives I hope he learns his lesson

I agree with that, and FYI, Demon Lord would have been a whole lot better if they focused more on the plot than the ecchi. The whole "Shocker Thing" not really funny and kind of rapey honestly.
I got the same sort of vibe from Ulysses in the scene where
he implanted the philosopher's stone in Jeanne accompanied/followed by an openmouth kiss

When I do like an ecchi series, it’s usually because it’s lighthearted and comedic. If it takes the sex too seriously or is extremely violent, it’s a turnoff for me.

I actually meant that Conception & Ulysses were terrible, Demon Lord was ok, as was Yuuna.

The only anime I seen like that this season was Ulysses.
I stayed with that one through episode 3 before dropping. I don’t just drop a series because it’s ecchi (I stuck with How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord till the end), but both of these were just terrible.

I actually skidded on the deck when I let the dog out this morning (had a glaze of ice on it). Supposed to be sunny and get into the low 40s
-
I watched the first episode and decided it was one of the worst anime I’d ever seen. One and done.
Ironically there are a series of PlayStation games based on the same source material and according to CR it was the most watched anime of the season in Iraq & Syria

Supposed to rain all day with temps reaching 50
Despite being above normal temps the wind and the wet actually make it feel worse

Not sure if there is another place for this sort of thing on the forums, but I've been seeing some I liked online & wanted to share them.
This is the one I took my current avy from

Copied from my profile: Cowboy Bebop; My Hero Academia; Azumanga Daioh; Magic Knight Rayearth; Louie the Rune Soldier; Shiki; Mushishi; Ushio & Tora; Yuru Camp; Beautiful Bones; Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood; Konosuba; Scrapped Princess; A Place Further than the Universe
Most people just mention series, but I'll also list some of my favorite anime movies: Project A-ko (original); Little Witch Academia (original & Enchanted Parade); Princess Mononoke; Castle in the Sky; Ranma 1/2: Nihao my Concubine; Dirty Pair: Project Eden; Perfect Blue; Patema Inverted; Children Who Chase Lost Voices; Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro

So is the list of series you HAVE watched? Or the ones you're trying to choose between?
One series I would highly recommend to anyone is A Place Further Than the Universe. It’s about a group of highschool girls who accompany a research expedition to the Antarctic. While the initial expectation might be for a CGDCT series, there is more depth to it including some pretty raw emotions. Nevertheless, it is a positive series with the emphasis on friendship and not letting adversity discourage you from pursuing your dreams. It’s short too, just 12 or 13 eps.

Wow! Tq guys
Also, do black butler has romance?
Cause I has watch it(not full season, just 3 episodes) and it look more like just a story about butler
Of the various recommendations, Kaga Koko's are probably the ones where "romance" is the most prevalent. In a number of the anime I mentioned "romance" really isn't the central focus. I guess your request was kind of confusing since you said you wanted the characters to be "just friends" and listed Rukia & Icihigo as your example. I'll try to clarify some of my recommendations somewhat:
Soul Eater, Slayers & Beautiful Bones all feature a male & female character who are teammates/partners. If romance comes up at all it's generally dismissed pretty quickly
Ushio & Tora: the MC has a childhood friend that he frequently bickers with but it's pretty clear they have feelings for each other. While it's a recurring theme, it's not really the focus.
Buso Renkin's relationship is the one that reminds me the most of Ichigo/Rukia. Shakugan no Shana kinda falls into that category as well.
Magic Knight Rayearth: while there's some romance in the first season, it's more prevalent in the second season.
Cardcaptor Sakura: they start out as rivals, become teammates & eventually do become a "couple", but at their age it's more cute than anythimg
Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon: more of a harem series than anything, with most of the romance being one sided crushes (with the one side like the other, but not really seeing them in that way)
Scrapped Princess: the main male character is actually more of a surrogate big brother & his focus is on protecting Pacifica. Although there is another character who has an interest in her, she doesn't really feel the same way & it's played more for laughs

2nding Soul Eater
Buso Renkin
Shakugan no Shana
Scrapped Princess
Is it Wrong to try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?
Slayers
Ushio & Tora
Magic Knight Rayearth
Beautiul Bones (more mystery than action)
Cardcaptor Sakura (they do wind up a couple, but not until well into the series and they’re kids so it’s cute & innocent)

Hunter x Hunter, Monster, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Ushio & Tora, Gegege no Kitaro, Detective Conan (Case Closed), Lupin III, Gintama, Fairy Tail, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Slayers
Series with 3 seasons & more to come: Attack on Titan, Overlord. I believe I saw where A Certain Scientific Railgun was getting a 3rd season.
If you’re willing to give shoujo a try: Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth

Season 4 was disappointing to me as there were only six new episodes which were ok, but not great. I didn't even bother with the other six since they were apparently just rebroadcasts of episodes from past seasons. I did enjoy seasons 1 & 2 though.
