  1. Spend time with family, though it’s different since my parents passed. We don’t do the big home cooked meal anymore, instead going out to eat with my sister & her husband and kids. Usually invite along some friends who don’t have extended families nearby (think there will be about 10 of us this year). Afterwards, go back to one of our houses and talk/reminisce (and snack of course). Maybe watch a holiday movie together. My dad was the only one who was really into all the football games

  2. So seems like a lot of new content is in the works:

Season 2 is supposed to debut sometime in 2020, though an exact date hasn’t been set.

A 2nd OVA episode is supposed to become available on CR & Funi’s sites on 12/4/19, though it’s sounds like it will be an excuse for  fanservice more than anything (similar to the 1st one)

And an article on ANN says a 3 part OVA story involving Rimuru teaching Shizu’s students is in the works https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-11-26/that-time-i-got-reincarnated-as-a-slime-anime-gets-3-more-original-anime-dvds/.153702 While not guaranteed, the fact that the other OVAs have been made available online make it likely they will be too.

I hope to make some friends. I like to use puns a lot and I get bored often.

Ironic that I saw this as I just turned off Golden Kamuy episode 2 and the town in the snow gave me strong western vibes.  Was literally thinking that then saw this post immediately after...funny!

Agreed 100%  The series has a number of similarities to spaghetti westerns most notably, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. And I think Sugimoto & Asirpa reminds me a bit of True Grit. “Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the Battle of 203 Hill in the Russo-Japanese War, works as a miner in Hokkaido in order to provide for the widow of his dead comrade. He hears a dubious story about a hidden trove of Ainu gold, the location of which is hidden in the tattoos of a group of convicts who escaped from Abashiri Prison. When he discovers that the story is true, and that multiple other groups are in pursuit of the gold, he decides to search for it along with Asirpa, a young Ainu girl.”

Along the lines of Trigun, there’s also Gun x Sword

    Welcome to the forums.

Looking at your profile page, I imagine you enjoyed this week’s episode if Iruma-kun. I think Clara is a great mascot character, but Ameri is more my preference 😊

While I do enjoy some fanservice or ecchi comedy series, when it comes to hentai no thank you.

There was a pretty active discussion here on Kimetsu no Yaiba when it was airing, but not so much now. Waiting for the follow up movie (wonder if they’ll eventually make another tv series or rely on movies/OVAs going forward).

MHA seems to be dragging a but at the moment, but hopefully the action will pick up soon.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it here 😁

  6. A couple US streaming updates:

The 2nd Reincarnated as a Slime OVA will be available on Crunchyroll & Funimation on 12/4. The promotional image & that it’s supposed to be a sumo tournament suggests it will be light on story and focus on fanservice & comedy

Also, the 2nd season of Takagi-san will be available on Netflix beginning 12/6.

I've been trying to find an English dub BD now for weeks of Fate/Apocrypha, and no luck anywhere though...bummer.

Unfortunately it seems increasingly rare for Netflix & Crunchyroll to make their “exclusive” titles available on discs. Guess it’s their way of exercising control. I personally would love to own copies of Konosuba, Yuru Camp, Little Witch Academia & A Place Further than the Universe.

I've always wondered what's in store next for Eijiro Kirishima/Red Riot since

I’d actually been expecting them to try and more with him since he’s the only character who really seems to get along with Bakugo

being the one Deku deemed most likely Bakugo would accept help from during the rescue last season

I was actually amused at the villain with the blades sticking out of his hands complaining about how useless his quirk is, since it’s basically the same as Wolverine (though I guess it’s not that badass without the healing factor & indestructible skeleton) 😂 ) Also how Fat Gum was basically Blob (guess it’s my former X-men fanaticism resurfacing :P )

Would also be great if there's one that contains info for different regions as well 😂

That’s the tricky part :P Amazon, maybe?

I primarily use Righrstuf since they have both a pre-order & recent additions link on the home page. While I believe they ship internationally, pretty sure their listings are just region 1

  10. Welcome to the forums 😁

I’m finding Iruma-kun surprisingly enjoyable myself (can’t wait to see how things play out between him & the student council prez). After School Dice Club & Average Abilities isekai are fun too. Planning to binge the second half of Vinland Saga once it’s over, but will have to wait on Netflix to release Beastars.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it here.

  11. Which is why

he started developing a fighting style that relies more on his legs (shoot stlyle) and asked Mei to come up with costume modifications that would help lessen or absorb the impact

I'd planned to watch this before I found out its not on any of my streaming services.

Seen some clips and it does seem very funny. Maybe another future contender for the isekai quartet?

Yeah, there were several new series Crunchyroll didn’t get this season. I think you would like it. The MC  is kind of a caricature of Naofumi (very blunt about offending people by letting them know he doesn’t trust or need them). The companion Goddess’ over the top reactions make it largely comedic though 🤣

However I accidentally found out ahead of time that there’s a pretty dark reason for why he’s that way. There’ve already been some clues about it and hints of a more serious tone down the road (kinda like Trigun after you learned Vash’s backstory).
Of the season’s new series it’s probably the most promising.
