  1. I just recently finished school-live which was a really well done zombie apocalypse anime it was like dawn of the dead for high school. I really loved Sankarea: Undying Love and High School of the dead. I consider these three anime personally, to be the greatest zombie animes I have seen. I know of Is this a Zombie i think its called its ok but that isnt really zombie related. its just some goofy monster girl harem comedy. But if you know a good zombie anime, please make some recommendations ^^
  2. For me Hamtaro is just classic anime, I loved it so much I ended up having my own hamster at one time, but our relationship was never as amazing as hamtaro's lol. I was lucky to find two vhs volumes of hamtaro at a thrift store a couple weeks ago which I bought for my club, *sighs* takes me back lol
  3. I have myself started in so many different animes and mangas I keep forgetting where Im at but I can at least justify myself to these animes I am in right now Rumbling Hearts Dragonar Academy (Reading Manga As I watch ^^) My Love Story!! Gamers! (Bout to be wrapping it up) Your Name (Just watched for the first time a couple nights ago...it was...ok...kinda failed me in interest, way to similar to fireworks which was just failure, way to close to the girl who leapt through time which was really good lol) I finished Black Lagoon and its OVA Roberta's Blood Trail not long ago was amazing journey Im so happy to hear its manga continuation is in motion. I should finish Clannad After Story but Im sorry once Kotomi was no longer in the story, the OVA for After Story where Kyou falls in love with Tomoya was my perfect finish for the story. I tried watching Squid Girl ehh...and I started watching Love Live School Idol Project season 2 but I haven't gotten very far afraid of it falling short of season ones amazingness.

its fine to reply on dead threads, it can revive the dead thread (or so called, necro the dead thread ^_^)

we dont have rules on necro'ing threads, so its not like you will be violating any rules ;o

worst case scenerio; make a new topic~, thats technically not making replying on an old thread~

id make new posts, but as my avatar states, i must study mode >:o (even though, im surfing the net at the moment, but in my defense, its night time and almost 12nn >.>)

    2. Geano

      Geano

No worries on that. I mean if it is a year old probably best to leave it be. Though if its a few weeks old no sweat by me.

  5. I found Princess Princess to be really good, it helped me find confidence in a personal way in myself, its genre is shounen ai but its centered on cute boys dressing up as princesses at their all boys school which the main character and one of the supporting characters develop a very close friendship to each other. There is a third supporting character but he's absent in the presence of gay relationship but his girlfriend makes up for it later in the series for her feelings towards him crossdressing as a gothic lolita princess lol which I feels was a great presentation of a girl in a relationship with a guy who crossdresses. Another one to consider is Fake, its short very short, a ova, but it's about two nypd officers one japanese american and the other american who have a gay relationship in secret and how they try to have their first getaway together ends up being a crime they solve together. Has some good gay relationship qualities that felt relatistic in the portrayal of having a secret gay relationship as both officers and in the early 90's late 80's when that was a time of the great AIDS epidemic and the hostility towards gay men. I know of tons of anime that have crossdressing male being friends with another guy and having a platonic relationship/friendship but that really doesnt correlate to your interest into other gay themed anime. Im sorry I have only two titles to offer...but I hope they help give you something fresh to enjoy...if I failed your satisfaction your more than welcome to rant me out for it.
  6. Yea I have a actual establishment, you can come and just hang bout the place all you wish! Bookcases of anime and manga, gameboy colours and advances, a ps3 and xbox 360 two tvs, a fridge and pantry full of free for all food, a 300 inch outdoor projector theater with tables surrounding a fire pit. But...im struggling to get interest in the club I have a meetup.com site dedicated for the club...only two people have shown up...I'm thinking of setting up a meetup before I open the club at the local library to help generate public interest. Im sorry...I kind of went off the rambling bridge there...sorry...
  7. I loved watching tenchi and yu yu hakusho, as cowboy bebop code lyoko, but my favourite anime watching on toonami in the afternoons was well...heh...hamtaro...is that ok?
  8. The first manga I got myself on was this manga called angel guardian getten I believe it was in a raijun monthly comic first issue I found it in the street when I was a kid like when I was 10 and I read some of the other stories that was in it baki the grappler some others but angel guardian getten stuck with me and now I have the mangas personally ^^.
  9. I always try to read the manga first of anything I desire to watch. But always fall short of that desire at the same time...and end up watching the anime more than I have the chance to read the manga. I enjoy both perspectives of imagination, creativity and writing into adaptations and the manga itself. I've gotten to read a few manga series before watching them or watched it and got myself to go back and read and found two things I always enjoy. One: Being able to constructively compare the anime to the manga in what stayed the same and what was altered from the source. Two: Is when the source material is either anime first or was light novel adapted into anime then adapted into a manga last ^^ Haganai I Dont Have Many Friends is great example of such and so is Gosick and RWBY. This kind of adaptation into a manga always shows a fresh take from a artist being given freewill to recreate something we already enjoyed and make it their own so we can enjoy it in a totally different perspective. P.S. I read Five Centimeters Per Second (In one sitting is that right term of expression?) which I also own the film but am afraid to watch it cause of just one page being different the manga lol. Any advice to any who have maybe already read and watched the adaptation.
