this question is very difficult because on one hand u have someone devoted to you and on the other hand u have someone whos cute but could just get into a fight with you one day and just go full tsuntsun instead of tsundere and then leave you but atleast she wouldn't murder you if u stopped caring. I personally don't find any of these natures that appealing because I would much rather surround myself with positive outlooks on the world or our situations then have someone either pessimistic towards me (tsun) at times or someone willing to get rid of the positive outlooks surrounding me to claim me for their self because that would just make me more sad. but I would probably go yandere because atleast they would be nice to me and get rid of the negative aspects around me and if they lose feelings for me then they wont kill me or anyone which is a high chance. If I was to lose interest in them then they probably would kill me so I wouldn't have to worry about someone else breaking my heart seems fair to me.

welcome to the forums, My favourite anime is the garden of words but if my house was set of fire I would most likely take a manga but I have too many to choose from. If you like metaphors and analogies u might like some of mikoto shinkais works such as the garden of words because it looks into human emotions which is quite interesting while also having a wide range of panning shots of the landscapes which as you like photography might pique your interest if you haven't seen it. For metaphors a lot of interesting ones came up in 5 cm per second which is also a mikoto shinkai film. Also sound of the sky is awesome.

well if u want something like spirited away or howls moving castle, the guy who made them Hayao Miyasakis movies would be the place to start. Since u liked cowboy bebop I am also inclined to suggest baccano since Its also around the same style but is about mafias who gain immortality with a really good plot. If u do plan to go for something a long spirited away or howls moving castle route I would suggest Princess mononoke since its one of my personal favourites from their creator and I think you might enjoy it. I don't really have anything old in terms of something similar to Ghost in the shell, but Psycho pass comes close with it also being a futuristic police show bare in mind it would have CGI animation and not old hand drawn or traditional methods still worth a watch. Other things to check out on a whim are Mikoto shinkai films such as 5 Centimetres per second. These films are strictly about human interactions and are usually romance based but take a reality check to the face and punch u hard in the feels while keeping a traditional animation style while implementing some 3D animation that blends well to add some real nice depth. You may like it you never know.

There is minor differences between dub and subbed animes, usually subbed animes have more emotions put into the voice in a way that doesn't sound as corny while in dub when they try to do that kind of emotion or emphasis it just makes it sound over the top and comical in my opinion. Also if u aren't a fast reader u may struggle to keep up with reading and watching at the same time which may disjoint u from the sound and text which u will get used to over time. Either way if u don't have any problems with this stuff u should be fine

I don't mind ecchi I mean if u like a bit of ecchi I don't really care but personally I don't really want to watch it. Half the ecchis I have seen had miniscule amounts of plot and half the character development just built up to the perverted parts of the show. There are some good ones who use ecchi to make some mature comedy which I can really enjoy but when its just mindless fan service it just annoys me. Although ecchi is targeted more towards teenagers so.

I usually buy from retailers and fill in the gaps or ask them to order in certain volumes so I can buy them, however usually I buy in bulk since the shop is far away from my house (an hour by car)
