  1. I'm not really sure ... My Waifu would probably be yandere. There's just something about those eyes... I'd probably go with Ayase from Oreimo.
  2. Random Rant: People calling me about my computer saying there's a problem with it when I took two years of computer maintenance in High School. On the upside: I do so love to mess with them. I just had one not too long ago and I kept the conversation going on and on, the whole while I'm not even in front of my computer. Finally the guys says to press my Windows key and I said, "Woah, woah, woah." "What," he said, shocked. "Windows?" I asked, "I have a Mac. I'm apple." "Oh, well, um, you can just hang up then," he said with a touch of embarrassment. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha," I cried in laughter as I hung up the phone. ... I know, I'm cruel. PS I totally run Windows.
  3. I actually prefer to use a good stream site that's solely about streams. You don't have to clutter up your computer with files. I've never actually used Crunchyroll because of it's layout, but their streams are excellent quality. I have watched S1 of Oreimo and a few eps of S2. I lost my place and just haven't bothered with finding it again. I'll give it a watch so we can discuss. I actually really enjoy the artwork and the storyline. Character progressions are great and I'm a total sap for tsundere. It'll take me a day or two to catch up ^^
  4. Currently I own: PS3, PS2, and Gameboy Advance SP. Honestly I just use my computers for gaming anymore. I do have several emulators for the really old systems ... but it's nothing like actually holding the paddle in your hands. You know how many people have tried to correct me for calling them paddles? It's a paddle or a joystick, not a controller >.< lol I used to own: Wii, Xbox 360, PS1, Gamecube, NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Sega
  5. It looks pretty good from the first episode (second eps out, must watch ) I've heard plenty of negative reviews but those are mostly coming from the season 2 haters. Animation alone is reason enough for me to watch but with this new plot and new game, my interest is thoroughly piqued. If you get the chance, give it a go. I know I just started watching Fairy Tale (2014) the other day and I'm totally lost. I'll probably end up re-watching the original series. I actually was one of the last of my friends to watch the show because I, well frankly I just forgot about it halfway through the first season. I finished it all too quickly though, I wanted to see more Kirito >.< It is a really good anime. It's definitely on my top ten.
  6. That is cool ^^ Nights and NightDancer, I like it Thank you. I've already found this board to be quite welcoming. I don't plan on going anywhere
  7. I think it's awesome because I've got a library nearby that actually has manga you can check out. If they don't have it, you can always request it and check it out when it comes in. One of my friends told me about that and I was so happy. I still read most manga online though just because there's more of a selection at the ready.
  8. I bought the soundtrack and sing-a-long to these songs all the time in my car. I've been told, aside from the fact that they thought it was weird, that I'm actually pretty good at singing. They actually help to bring me out of a bad mood, when I'm angry or sad. Best 12USD I ever spent. I'm actually not sure. Knowing Disney, they'll work it out somehow. ouchthis-shy.gif
  9. That's just priceless The show he's in is actually really good. If you haven't already, I'd recommend watching. I actually need to catch up on it myself. Kanojo ga Flag o Oraretara - If Her Flag Breaks
  10. Aww, thanks ^^ It's actually a guy though ... allegedly. I suppose that's the point of being a trap though, lol.
  11. Last time I checked ... I think I'm still in the 100-200 episode range. I lost my place and didn't feel like finding it again. Plus there's like 500+ episodes. Detective Conan is beyond re-watchable. You watch the whole thing through once and you'll have forgotten the beginning episodes. I'll re-watch short animes and sometimes longer ones if it's been awhile. Cyborg Soldier 009 is 48 episodes. Not too bad compared to Detective Conan, One Piece, Fairy Tail, or Bleach.
  12. The two of us are 『 』 together.

  13. Yes, I adored Tangled. ouchthis-excited2 It was so cute and sweet I was in tears. I'm swapping it out for #5. Monster Inc can have my number 6 spot. The songs in Frozen are just absolutely fantastic. Idina Menzel's performance of Let It Go was just breathtaking. Top Five Frozen Songs: Let It Go, For The First Time In Forever, Do You Want To Build A Snowman, Love Is An Open Door, For The First Time In Forever Reprise I've seen The Lion King, The Lion King 2, and The Lion King 1.5; I've also seen the original TV series. Disney movies, and Disney shows (back when they were good) were always my thing as a kid. There's probably not many Disney movies I haven't seen (not including those off brand movies they make just for the Disney channels). I'd like to see a new Lion King movie, that would be awesome, but looking at what Disney has been doing in the television department recently ... I don't know if I have faith that it'd be decent. I fear a new series might be a bombshell. If they do make the series I will probably watch the first few episodes, to give it a fair shot. Hopefully it's something enjoyable so it doesn't completely ruin my childhood. lol
  14. I remember watching Cyborg Soldier 009 when I was pretty young. I've not heard that one mentioned once since I discovered the internet. Sometimes I like to watch old shows when it's raining out. I'll add this one to the list as I literally just remembered it.
  15. Thanks ^^ I'm looking forward to working with you and everyone else. I understand the excitement in seeing new faces and new teammates. Hopefully we'll get to work together in the near future. Lol, Inko I've actually came across it a time or two but never actually managed to watch it. I think I'll give it a shot. It's looks adorable just from the description ^^ Top Five: Frozen, Tinker Bell movies, Cars/Planes, Lion King, Monsters Inc./University
  16. In terms of games and software, I'll always choose digital over physical any day. More often then not, once you buy something via a created account, it's always going to be there for you. You can download over and over again. This is handy for things like computer crashes or even computer updating. There are many ways to lose or corrupt your data and it's great to always be able to re-download when needed. Physical copies, on the other hand, are tedious. Discs often scratch and become irreparable making them worthless and then you're out however much money you spent on them. Not to mention the fact that you have to store them in a safe location, which often can lead to clutter. Digital copies are stored digitally and thus remove any physical clutter of your home or office. In terms of literature, I'll always choose physical over digital any day. There's nothing more relaxing than the feeling of a hardback book resting gently in your hands as you turn each page. You don't get that sort of aesthetically pleasant feeling from digital copies. It's kind of like trying to hug a robot, it just doesn't feel right. That is to say that certain things such as writings of non-importance or at least not important to as many people can't be digital. For instance, a letter from a landlord to their tenant informing them that they've received noise complaints from their apartment would be better suited as an email. I'll never read a digital copy of Shakespeare for these very reasons. So, basically, games and software are best as digital copies while literature is best as a physical copy, at least in my opinion.
  17. I detest Facebook for a variety of reasons. One reason being that it is so easy for people to know everything about you anymore. All it takes is a few clicks and they've got your entire life story at their fingertips. There's always stalkers on Facebook, especially if you're the kind that likes to post about everything you're doing when you're doing it (also why I hate Twitter). I will admit that there are some advantages. Small companies or businesses who can't afford or don't have the know how to get a website can still advertise pretty easily with just a few clicks. It's also great for things like forums, or even websites to gain more reputation and build a larger following. It has its ups and downs as with any social networking site. Personally, I just use it for playing games. I never update my status and I hardly use it to connect with others. I stick to things like Skype or forums to connect with other people. I suppose I just don't like the fact that there is no anonymity anymore. You see this especially on YouTube where users now have to link/create Google+ accounts to use YouTube's services (which it's not difficult to bypass but it's still ridiculous having to). The internet as we know it was pioneered by anonymity. Take that away and what do we have left? I digress ... Facebook is a great way for businesses and organizations to communicate with the general populous. I can't say the same about the general populous communicating with itself however, due to the fact of aforementioned issues (stalkers, spammers, bullies, etc).
  18. Hmm ... based on my personality I'd most definitely be a trap. I'm thinking Megumu from If Her Flag Breaks. [spoiler=Megumu]
  19. Just finished 'No Game No Life' and ... just ... wow! I'll definitely be waiting on pins and needles for the second season. Just need mister Kamiya to put out some more light novels. We need moar! onion-cry
  20. That makes me think if Death Note and Frozen had a crossover, this would be the theme song. It had that sort of Death Note style to it. I love his voice. His style of music is a little darker but it still sounds great. I'm not going to lie ... that original version freaked me out. The video was just way to random, even for me. The singing was cute ^^ but ... that video was *shudders* down right creepy.
  21. Let It Go - Demi Lovato My favorite line, "I know I left a life behind but I'm too relieved to grieve."
  22. Thank you ^^ If I had to pick a favorite ... it'd probably be Heart no Kuni no Alice, followed closely by Lucky Star. I find myself mainly reading shoujo manga. I haven't been reading lately but now I kind of want to start again >.< I'm really not all that talented. I just pick up things here and there and latch onto what I'm most fond of. I daydream all the time, it's actually one of my favorite pastimes. Sleeping is my second favorite pastime. There's nothing wrong with that onion-cool Finally, someone who understands onion-run
  23. Hi, my name is Jordan but most just call me Nights. Optic has assigned me the role of forum manager to help make this place more enjoyable for the community. Don't worry, I'm no stranger to anime. I'm actually quite fond of anime and manga. I think I've been a fan ever since watching Sailor Moon on Saturday mornings, as a child. My range of flavors vary but I'm most inclined to watch RomComs. 'Toradora!' is one of my favorite anime's of all time. I'm also a computer nerd. I love computers, from the hardware to the software and all ware's in between. I've got some experience in web design, mostly with HTML and CSS. I love to sit down and just try to make things work with lines of code. I sometimes forget myself and end up working on something for an entire day. I also like to create graphics using photo manipulation software; my favorite is PhotoShop. I do most of my own avatars and signatures with the exception of occasional gifts. I sometimes even go as far as to make animated gifs. I am a guy but I've been told I'm extremely "girlish" in taste. I love anything and everything that is cute/kawaii. This one flaw is the reason why I can't stay mad at Kyubey, I just can't! This is more than likely why I'm more fond of RomComs than any other genre. I also have a thing about animation style. I have, sadly, turned down many a show simply because it had poor animation. I am a fan of many things; Doctor Who, Supernatural, MLP, Harry Potter, and a lot of Disney films. The first fandom I ever belonged to though is anime. Well, I'm not sure if I left anything out or not. Feel free to ask me anything you'd like. I'll be more than happy to answer to the best of my abilities. I can't wait to meet everyone and become a part of this community. Thanks for reading, Nights
