Anime with a French connection include: Radiant is an adaption of a French comicbook series (or manfra) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiant_(manfra) Maria the Virgin Witch, Case Study of Vanitas & Le Chevalier D'Eon are all set in France.
