Looking for some nice anime or mangas with a "Da hood" theme, anything?

The closest thing I’ve seen on CR is probably Michiko & Hatchin, though I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for. MFKZ (Mutafukaz) might be closer as the name implies, but I believe it’s on Netflix. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a futuristic take, also on Netflix. There’s an anime called Gangsta I haven’t seen, but the art I’ve seen doesn’t show many (if any) characters of color. If you’re ok with asian street gangs, Tokyo Revengers is probably the closest I’ve seen. As far as anime that focuses on the criminal underworld: Black Lagoon • Baccano • Durarara • Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens. There are numerous other titles I’ve heard of, but honestly it’s not a genre that appeals to me in particular.

I think all the ones I mentioned fit the bill (some of them touch on the topic of prostitution, but nothing explicit). For example Draken (from Tokyo Revengers) “adoptive” home is a brothel. Even MFKZ is more a reference to how foul-mouthed the characters are than any sexual content. I should note, some series may be on sites other than CR.
