What are you waiting for? (Warning: Possible spoilers)

So what are you waiting for in an anime? Or what were you waiting for to happen for a long time that did or did not ever happen in the series? Specifically what you think they will do in the series that yoiu want to see, not just stuff that's not out yet. What are you waiting for in the show I mean. 

 

I understand in Boruto Himawari got both the byakugan and nine-tailed fox. 

 

I'm still waiting for Luffy and crew to find that (&**^*(&%*&^% treasure! 

 

For Kobayashi and Torhu to tie the knot.

Seasons 2 of My Dress-up Darling & Saga of Tanya the Evil. Both were confirmed green-lit, but no set date has been announced& no news for at least a couple years.

They did a Tanya movie.

A more comprehensive adaption of the Battle Angel Alita manga (like they did for FMA, Fruits Basket, etc.) Got my hopes up that the live action movie would spark interest, but no such luck (though apparently there are some folks still wanting a sequel).

The Macross franchise on a legally streaming service in the US. There was an article earlier in the year that Disney+ would air them, but turns out only in Europe (and Canada I think). 
 

CR to make Star Blazers 2205 available (they have 2199 & 2202, but then skipped over to the first entries in 3199)

Apparently I’ll be waiting to see the new Overlord movie (The Sacred Kingdom). It’s at a reasonably close theater starting next week, but the dub version only. I’ve been having issues with my hearing being distorted/garbled in recent months, so subtitles are a necessity, not just a preference. Hopefully CR will put it online sometime next year.

More than anything it’s just that at least it’s more original in it’s setting & story than the vast majority of isekai anime the industry keeps pumping out.

Was lucky enough to see Dreaming Girl during the very limited time frame it was available on Funimation. Saw Sister Venturing Out & Knapsack Kid in theatre earlier this year. A new animated project is in the works & I believe it was confirmed to be a full season, so they definitely need to make the movies more available by then.

I quite like some "idol" anime, but not all of it.  As you say GBC got a lot of hype when it was released so I'm curious to see if it was worth the hype.

When I asked "What are you waiting for" I did not mean the series itself. I mean what do you want the characters to do in the series. 

 

Like in RWBY when we waited like 9 seasons for a couple to kiss.

In Bleach, Kisuke Urahara's Bankai is called the Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame and is considered one of the most complex and powerful Bankai in the series. When activated, the Bankai manifests a woman with dark braided hair and a red dress. 

 

 

 

The Bankai has many uses, including:

• Restructuring: Urahara can cut and restructure anything within his area of effect, making his opponents weaker.
• Healing: Urahara can restructure anything to create a healing and buff effect
