But I'm grateful for the little daffs, they give a small bit of colour to the garden. I've seen a few here but not many yet. Daffodils are some of my favorite flowers.

Ooooo pretty I saw a few of these popping up while I was in Chicago yesterday ~ first signs of Spring coming and almost time to be taking some really pretty flower pics
Animedragon
Mayflower is a really nice locomotive which I've seen lots of times and had several rides behind, including one on the main line between London Waterloo and Windsor. This photo was taken at Minehead station on the West Somerset Heritage railway which at 20 miles is the longest heritage railway in England. 1

That's a great picture I like how everything looks so detailed even the clouds you can see well.

Animedragon
I saw this rather nice tree a few houses along my road and just had to go and take some photos of it. I think it's a cherry blossom (sakura) tree, but I'm not certain of that. Anyway, it's a nice tree. 1 1

It does look like a cherry blossom but I'm not very well educated in what tree is what

That's how I figured out the white trees I went to see were pear trees instead of Dogwoods.

I've wanted to go to Japan during the cherry blossom season that's on my bucket list. To walk down a road that is lined with those types.
Animedragon
When I went out I saw this which is something I wasn't expecting to see, a main line steam hauled charter train. The Golden Arrow was a prestigious luxury train that ran from London to Dover and passengers then travel by boat across to France where another luxury train took them on to Paris. The locomotive is a beautifully restored Southern Railway West Country class no.34046 and named Braunton. 1 1

Is that still a passenger train people pay to ride?

It's a private charter train, but anyone can buy tickets for trains like that from the organiser of the charter. I've been on a couple, ticket prices vary depending on the tour and what extras are available, on some you can have a full three course meal. 4 hours ago, Sakura said: Niceeee you did get a pic of it Such a good picture and the train looks cool asf *-* It's sooo shiny lol Yes, I'm pleased with that photo, it's certainly shiny it's also big and powerful. 1

Animedragon
Black & white photographs were mentioned recently in @Sakura's blog which got me thinking about B&W work. So I revisited the photos I took in the park and processed this one as a B&W photo. I think it came out quite nice. 1 1

It really makes me want to just do an entire blog entry for black and white photography. I think that's something I might do in the next week ~ b&w in this just really adds so much to this photo and gave it a totally different vibe.
