Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash - Episode 2 Discussion

Alright second episode. However, I would like to see them more concerned about their teamwork which is worse than their individual skills. Also, while they were finally able to kill a goblin this episode, I'm hoping they just don't magically increase in strength next episode. It will be quite interesting to see the chance when Ranta is able to summon his demon as well.

Ok so I waited so I could watch two episodes of this one in a row and I enjoyed both episodes. I have needed this since Dan Machi ended. I liked seeing the team struggle and get through together rather than over powered characters. I can't wait for the story to unfold and see where this one goes.

The second episode , though slow was quite good , I like how it was shown that a kill is exactly that and that they are actually killing a goblin to get it's "drop items".

The scene with Manato coming back from the tavern seems like a little bit of a hint at the characters background (especially if it does turn out that they are stuck in a game world without their memories) , it was also quite good to see how killing the goblin affected Ranta and hopefully that will come around again later in the series.

 

Overall the second episode has helped me have a bit more faith in the series and it's potential.

I'm the opposite. This second episode has made me a step closer to dropping it.

I don't want to drop it but if it doesn't get better within the next episode or two then I will.
