Has anyone actually managed to catch up with One Piece?

No but I am the closest I have ever been thanks to covid. lol I forget what episode I'm on but I just finished the big mom arc. It takes me awhile because I enjoy reading it as well. I actually like the manga better. The recap in every episode can get frustrating at times. -
Was not sure if I should post this here or make a new thread but I am currently in the process of building a new pc. It's been a few years and I'm struggling with the whole gpu situation. Am I better off waiting for prices to go down or is over paying for one unavoidable at this point?

I hid it when I was younger because I got made fun of for it. Once I got into high school it didn't matter so much anymore. I don't hide it but I don't really bring it up either these days. Now that I'm an adult I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. I wish I did. That is one of my reasons for being here as well.

Welcome to AF. Rentagirlfriend and Komi-san are great. I just caught up on Komi-san the other day. I love that you picked up Ranma 1/2 as well. Good mix of old with the new.

Ah yes, May the 4th (be with you).
The original trilogy (episodes IV -VI) are a defining element of my childhood & teens and remain probably my all time favorite movies. Was also a fan of the Heir to the Empire & Jedi Academy novels. Sadly the other movies didn’t really recapture the appeal for me (Revenge of the Sith being somewhat of an exception). While I’m still proud of my memorabilia & tees/hoodies based on the original trilogy, I have zero interest in any of the current projects .

I totally agree. I remember how excited I was when phantom menace came out. I quickly learned that the newer movies just couldn't touch the originals. I really tried over the years to like them but other than a few fight scenes they just don't do it for me. I also really need to read the novels. It's been on my bucket list for a long time.
With that being said I absolutely love the mandalorian. I got into it with zero expectations and love it for what it is.

Was sunny and 50 today. The last 3 days days has been just above freezing and down pour. I loved it. I live by the ocean and I love seeing the rain over the open water. I will take some pictures at some point and show you all.

No kids. Almost married a couple of times. I do have a dog that I absolutely spoil like a daughter though. I also have my sisters cat now who is the new woman in my life. She is a sweet old girl.

Been busy with work so I am just starting the new seasonal stuff. Going to probably watch Nagatoro first and 86 tonight. I read some of Nagatoro and 86 looks cool. I'm really hyped for it now after reading your post Ohayotaku. I LOVED IRON BLOOD.

I'm ready as well. I have kept myself from reading it so it's been a fun ride not knowing what is gonna happen before it airs. I'm hoping for a banger of a season.

I haven't fully done my research yet but I know for sure I will be watching Hero and Nagatoro. I need to catch up on fruits basket and give zombieland saga a try as well. I might even try shaman king. To be honest I didn't watch it as a kid but I knew it was popular. Maybe it will give me some late 90's early 00's nostalgia.
