Nectar
A question! What hot drinks, if any, do you like or prefer to others? Personally, I'm an avid fan of strong coffee, milk and two sugars. I also love most teas, specifically the dark red ones with various berries, since I don't think much to lemon tea. But definitely also standard just tea... tea. Black. Two sugars xP I don't mind hot chocolate, or malted drinks like Ovaltine and Horlicks. I used to love those growing up. Kohloo
My favourite hot beverage is definitely tea. I really like earl grey, cinnamon chai, and a certain brand of pumpkin spice. I also like to try other teas. If they're herbal or fruity, I tend to mix and match flavours. I absolutely hate orange pekoe tea (which is what most people are drinking if they say they're drinking just regular black tea. I find the stuff to be absolutely vile). I don't take anything in my tea. I've recently started drinking coffee more regularly too. I don't take anything in my coffee either. I'm really fussy on which coffee I drink, because certain brands I need to have sugar in them. When it comes to coffee for me, if I need to take sugar in it, then it's no good. My coffee needs to be drinkable with nothing in it. And every now and again I really enjoy some hot chocolate! I go overboard with it and tend to make it extra chocolatey and I'll shove marshmallows in it. If I'm not in the mood for such a sugar rush, then I'll do half hot chocolate and half coffee.
Orius
There's an Asian beverage called "milo" that I'm not sure if you've heard of. It's my favorite kind of hot beverage for its cocoa sweetness. It's kinda like hot chocolate, I guess, but I would imagine it tastes much more different due to its addition of milk. It's more like a mixture of milk and cocoa powder, I think. Other than that, as a kid, I could always go for a warm cup of milk. Not the kind you would drink from a carton, mind you, but condensed milk poured with hot water. There's just something delicious about the sweetness of condensed milk that I couldn't resist. Then again, it could just be due to my sweet tooth. Edited June 6, 2017 by Guest
existentiallylostdumbell
Coffee, a bit of milk, a bit of cream. Or scotch, if you made that hot somehow, ooh how about coffee and rum, would that work? Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow evening.
Cy~
My favorite hot drink is strong, well made coffee. I drink it black, no sugar or other additives. Occasionally, as a treat, I'll have it with a dash of caramel, with no other additives. Please note, when I saw "strong coffee" - I do not mean Folgers poured to the overflowing and then roasted with water that is too hot at far too long of a temperature. I prefer coffee that is strong as a natural consequence of the beans and the brew method. Other than coffee, I'll happily drink almost any variety of tea, hot chocolate, or other warm beverage. Coffee is just my favorite It is only surpassed by the debauchery of hot chocolate in the wintertime, sprinkled with marshmallows and saturated in all of the goodies that I can add to it. (Yes, I usually get sick after drinking it, both due to the richness and the quantity that I drink. Nope, I don't care. )

I'll shove like three or four marshmallows in it and two candy canes and maybe sometimes I'll replace the marshmallows with whip cream and put chocolate drizzle on it. I shouldn't be allowed to have hot chocolate around Christmas 1
zoop
I'm not generally a fan of hot drinks. I know, I know. I'm terrible - I take my coffee iced and sweet, put ice in hot chocolate, and generally wait until my tea is lukewarm before I drink any of it. I'm an embarrassment. With that said, I am quite fond of tea - blue people oolong is my favorite by far, and something that I need to get my hands on again in the near future. Quite fond of herbal teas, as well.
Nectar
put ice in hot chocolate You probably put more in than me, but I definitely do this as well all the time A lot of the time that I make a hot drink, I'm in a rush (on a morning particularly) and so I can never drink the just-boiled water straight away, even with lots of milk (if I take milk in said drink, usually coffee so yes). To tackle this, I put a couple of ice cubes in my drink to cool it quicker so I can neck it fast It's really quite helpful
zoop
And don't even get me started on the coffee imposters called frappuccinos. B-b-b-b-but... frappuccinos. Do you frown upon mochas, too? Frappes? Macchiatos? D:
zoop
But I will always always frown upon that Unicorn drink. That's not even coffee. And beyond that, from what I've heard, it was a bit of a nightmare for the employees to deal with - there were apparently ingredient shortages which prompted some locations to go so far as to procure and make use of unauthorized substitutions in order to keep up with the ridiculous demand. It just makes me turn my head when I see people with blended iced coffee drinks in, say, winter. eheheheh... I confess that iced coffee, iced tea, and iced everything are year-round beverages for me, even in the midst of snowstorms.

I feel this! I used to drink iced cappuccinos even in winter. I don't drink them at all anymore though.
Nectar
And ice drinks in winter.... You all are just crazy. You know I've really gotta agree with @zoop and @Kohloo on this I'm sorry but there's something strangely magical about an iced frappe in Winter. I get mine from either Costa, Starbucks or McDonalds. Typically the latter They are really nice whatever the weather, and since I'm always indoor drinking them anyway, I can't say I mind
