I was just wondering if anyone still plays Runescape or has ever played it. I know it's an older game and was probably the most popular back in 2002-2007, but they have Old School Runescape that came out in I think 2014? Which I still play because it's, for the most part, how it was in the 2000's. I still enjoy it because it's a game that's pretty simple to understand and I like the repetitive things like fishing, woodcutting, and crafting, that I can do while listening to music, watching tv, or just chatting with friends. It also brings back a lot of nostalgia from my childhood - teen years when I played it and met some of my best friends online there.

Hello, I'm Suga, and I'm new here. I'm actually a real girl (TWAW life,) and I going to be starting a 4-yr degree program in AI and Data Science come the fall of this year. Also, I'm a hopeless, friendless coomer degenerate and I'm only trans online, and only ironically. A little bit about me: I'm a semi-skilled full-stack .NET web application developer, stuck in the same dead-end job since roughly 2015. I'm convinced that my current job hasn't really given me any significant skills or bragging rights to put on my resume and pursue a real job in Silicon Valley or New York or Shenzhen, so I'm going to be working on getting an actual university degree, and working intermittently on my own AI hobbies, such as language learning assistants, coding assistants, searching/scraping engines and waifu generators. These are long-term goals that I'll be playing with over 4 years or so. I plan on starting at least one fediverse social site of my own, soon; either a Mastodon or Misskey instance, and eventually putting some Stable Diffusion code snippets on a github account or similar. And I'll be spamming here if I feel comfy and welcome. I like E2EE groupchats like Matrix Element, and I am very fond of the unmoderated hatespeech side of the federated social web, such as poa.st, nicecrew digital, noauthority social, shitposter club and the rest. That is actually how I discovered the anime meme community, although I used to be a Kpop stan and took Chinese and Korean classes online many years ago. Also, my life is a bit of a trainwreck and always has been (due to an emotionally abusive upbringing and very poor health), so eventually I will start occasionally posting motivational content, summarized snippets from self-help books, workout resolutions and the like, either here or elsewhere. I hope to engage with others who are recovering from similar struggles. Thanks for your attention. Suga

You know I do since that is where we met many, many years ago Of course I still play this too but not as frequently as I once did. I have already maxed account on Runescape 3 and Old School Runescape, completed end-game armor and received 200m XP in the skills I wanted to obtain that goal in. Now I only get on sometimes for a clan war or to help friends - such as yourself - with raids.

Yes, proper placement and intensity was often part of the art of the whack. Someone untutored in the art could shake a malfunctioning device, kick it, beat it up all day without "fixing" it. Finally in desperation one would have to call maintenance. The guy from maintenance would come up, take a look at the symptoms, maybe ask a few questions, then give it the right <thwack> in the right place and there you go, instant fix. Guess that's why he was paid the big bucks.

About 20 years ago we had this huge monitor that often switched itself off, we found that a swift WHACK on the right hand side woke it up again.

Good luck! There's a bunch of weird sh..tuff going on out there these days, economically speaking. I don't think anyone really knows how the next decade or so is going to play out but you could do worse than meeting it on your own terms.

I like to touch on a plethora of things, literature-wise. I venture into anime and cut it deep so that it has layers, like clothes on a mannequin. I magnify sci-fi, horror, using realism in even the most normal-life scenarios that I conjure from my psyche. I am published and hope to someday surpass the standard bearers of the medium, giants and luminaries whose broad shoulders I stand upon, posing supermodel-esque.

When I write it's usually poetry and it usually depends on how I'm feeling at the time. A lot of it tended to be either romance or depressing and sad lol. It's been a really long time since I've wrote anything though because I have to really feel something. I also used to write stories a lot that were kind of anime style but I would write them about myself and my friends.
