  Thanks - it is fixed now, Dell on-site support is good... but I can't say the same for the quality control of their parts (third repair now).

  In what little experience I've had with Dell... they love to refurbish. Never had one of their laptops before, but can't say that surprises me they're giving you cheap-o parts.
