Hello EmperorQinmon, welcome to Anime Forums. Ah Gundam... not sure if you're a fan of SEED, @Fab and @Moster82 have written some nice Mobile Suit Gundam SEED character profiles. And I did some galleries of Lunamaria Hawke, Freedom and Justice which might peak your interest. Have you seen Aldnoah/Zero? It's pretty good.

@drill, if you don't mind - could you possibly edit your previous post on the images you posted and title which character/anime they're from? I do plan on adding all of them where possible, it would make it easier if I could have names so I can dive right in.

Episode 19 thoughts: I agree this was a great episode for three reasons. 1. As @drill mentioned, we learn a lot about Asuna. We finally see what her life is like back home with her mother, post-SAO. And it's not all moonlight and roses with her mother around, that's for sure. 2. Asuna's thoughts about Kriito. Yes their love is obvious, but I suspect Asuna + Kirito remains a very big reason why SAO is popular. And anything that potentially threatens their relationship can only make it stronger right? 3. Seeing Asuna in a 1 vs 1 combat situation and being almost backed to a corner again actually bought back some tension, even if it was a duel. We haven't seen her fight so hard and ferociously since... ...... the first SAO arc! Be interesting to learn more about this Zekken character. She's awfully cheerful!

Digging up this old thread and changing this as Announced. Technically not anime, but due to Attack on Titan's immense popularity this does deserve its own thread so will keep it like this for now. Some movie preview posters came out recently, and the setting looks more modern. Costumes look well done, though the lens flare is a bit... garish? As I mentioned in the Learning Japanese discussion thread, here's the start of the Anime Japanese Flashcard project. Over time I will edit this starting post in phases. Each phase will contain a set of Japanese phrases in romaji with its English translation. The goal is to find an anime screenshot that best illustrates the phrase! Anime screenshots can be found in our Gallery, Google, maybe you have a collection too. And if you can't find a matching screenshot make one from your anime TV series collection. How to participate: Pick a phrase from the list below. Make a new reply to this thread, containing the phrase and your screenshot. I will then cross it off the list. Once we finish a Phase, I will edit the screenshot to include the phrase, romaji, hiragana in a pretty way. Then we move onto the next Phase. Phase 1 Kochira wa ______ desu. This is _____. I remember AVG used to be really popular many years ago! These days I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials, which seems pretty solid. No complaints there. Occasionally I'll run a scan with Malwarebytes too.

Thanks @drill, that inspired me to finally finish the integrated option. You can now finally choose your preference here: 1. Hover over your username on the top right corner and select Preferences. 2. A pop-up overlay will appear, towards the bottom you can make your choice here. I've also added two new ones. Mio Nishizono: Rin Natsume: @drill I really wanted to use the image of Rin you provided earlier but... :'( it had a really complicated background (lots of shadows) and when I tried to make it transparent it didn't look good at all, so I opted for another Rin image I found.

Now that's really stretching my memory. That would be Hotmail (before it became Windows Live Mail / Outlook online). That is true indeed and I admit I pretty much have my browser open almost all the time when I'm on my desktop. However, there are extensions and separate programs that can provide Gmail desktop notifications. I'm using this Chrome extension called Checker Plus for Gmail which provides notifications even when my Gmail tab or Chrome is closed completely. Works pretty well. Having said that if you have a Smartphone or Tablet and you've setup your mail on that device you would likely be getting mail notifications on that too. Google Apps is aimed towards business/enterprise use, so yes very similar to their usual apps (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sites, etc). The main difference is it ties them together and allows you to brand it with your own logo, and you get much more storage. I'm seeing more schools and businesses using it as it is convenient having Google manage those services. That's probably best reserved for another discussion thread I think.

Admittedly I haven't used a desktop email client for a long time now since I switched to Gmail, have used the webmail interface ever since. Even at work we've moved away from Outlook's desktop application in favour of Google Apps which includes the better version of Gmail.

I've found that Safari is really average on Windows, but pretty stellar on Mac OS X (which I use at work).

Have you ever made an AMV (anime music video) before? What were the challenges you encountered when making one? I'm thinking of making one, some things I've considered: Finding the right song to match the story or theme (fast-paced, or more slow based) Trying not to use too many talking scenes, or be repetitive Special effects and transitions Timing, timing, timing Would be curious to hear your thoughts.

So far I like it, it seems to autodownload album art really well and also supports replygain to help normalise those audio levels which was something I think Winamp did really well. Wonder if there are any anime themes to go with it?

[FLOAT_RIGHT] [/FLOAT_RIGHT] Based off the online Japanese online card game, Kantai Collection. This game of course is well known for adding moe to World War II ships. PV looks interesting, I quite enjoyed Strike Witches and Girls und Panzer which had cute military characters in them so Kantai Collection looks to be on a similar path. I've never played the video game. Will certainly keep an eye out for this one in January, 2015. Anyone else have any other thoughts? Yandex looks interesting, hadn't heard of it before until now. I'm using Google Chrome, mainly for the nice integration with Google accounts once you're signed in as I'm a Gmail user. I used to sync my bookmarks too when I had an Android phone which worked really well but I've gone back to iOS now.. I still like Chrome though so it's mainly habit. My second preference is Firefox, used that for a long time and occasionally I switch to it to make sure this website looks good too on that browser.
