What are your thoughts on the Rebuild movies so far?

Hello Tear, and welcome to Anime Forums. Homura. Rebellion was gut-wrenching (in a good way). Since watching the Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise I feel it's made all the other magical girl titles pale in comparison - or rather it really raised the bar.

Nominate this as best anime title for 2014?

Another favourite brand I like is Kettle Chips, any of you have this brand? Honey baked ham flavour is quite nice. Doritos are great, though I prefer the plain ones using their salsa dips. We don't have that UTZ brand here in Australia. But ripple cut - sour cream & onion sounds really tasty. We used to have Lays here in Australia but no longer...

[spoiler=Episode 12 (S1 Finale)] Seeing Saber get captured by Caster like that is quite possibly the most tense anime scene I've seen in my entire lifetime. I realise previous viewers probably saw that coming but as a first-timer to Fate/stay night, it was gut-wrenching. I love how ufotable is doing that longer episode format for the start and ending episodes, it definitely gives them more creative breathing room and pacing. The ending scene where Rin essentially leaves Emiya affter losing Saber and his command seals was epic. Such cinematic music. They were absolutely not kidding when they said this was quite possibly one of the most expensive anime titles ever produced. I have nothing more to add other than the preview for the next season that continues airing in April looks absolutely amazing.

Oh I see - well that's definitely versatile. Have you ever considered using that feature yourself?

Well I couldn't wait until January 20 for the Blu-ray release so I've started watching it. I really like this series so far, Shirai Kuroko's perverted nature towards Misaka is very amusing. I've edited the landing page with the main four characters.

Now naturally if you're watching airing anime titles as they air from Japan or simulcast onto Crunchyroll or FUNimation then you generally don't have a choice of course. BUT once they get released onto DVD and Blu-ray, do you generally prefer to watch the English dub or go straight for Japanese audio with subs? I personally prefer subbed most of the time. Having said that, I do try to get a few opinions to see what people think of a given English dub, then I might listen to a few samples before diving in all the way. The other option I suppose is you could watch both if you really really love the title. Some dubbed titles which I think were done REALLY WELL include: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV series) Guilty Crown Black Lagoon Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood How about you?

What are your favourite flavour and brand of potato chips? Just to clarify, I'm referring to the thin slices of potatoes that are deep fried and packed in bags, not hot chips (though they're great too) My all time favourite is crinkle cut lightly salted (or sea salt) goes well with any soft drink or even beer. Salt & vinegar flavour is great too. In terms of brands, I'm in Australia so not sure if you know of these brands but I love Red Rock Deli and Smiths:

I haven't updated my MAL since March 2013 which was when I went on anime hiatus. http://myanimelist.net/profile/Optic14 It's still referencing the old AN Community fansite as well, will need to update it soon. AniList and Hummingbird look amazing for cataloging your anime lists. BUT I much prefer the forums on MAL, despite it looking dated. The forums on AniList and Hummingbird are too minimalist for my liking.
