@drill: your Rewrite characters are now available:

How do you stay organised in order to stay on top of your commitments whilst also having time to enjoy yourself? Sticky notes? Calendars? (old school or cloud based ones) Diaries or notebooks? Whiteboard or pin-up board? Using your memory? Looking for inspiration as I'm finding balancing the full time work schedule with commitments and fun is becoming more of a challenge.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by it compressed your emails? It's only purpose is to provide pop-up alerts, clicking on them should link you directly to your Gmail inbox and open the relevant email. To my knowledge it shouldn't be editing your emails?

I haven't seen this series before, but have heard about it. Looks like the third series of it is currently airing. An ordinary student appears into a Fantasy world with two races. Biscotti are dogs and the Galette are cats. Hopefully someone that has watched it can chime in.

You are eager. At this stage for me: Fate/stay night is a no-brainer. Gunslinger Stratos adapatation I'll definitely take a look, that game was really popular in many of the arcades I saw in Japan. Hibike! Euphonium has got me curious given it's a Kyoto Animation production...

How did I forget to comment on the end of this series. [spoiler=Episode 13 - ENDING] Seeing Noel and Nonoka cry shortly before Noel disappeared on Episode 11 was gut-wrenching after all the fun times they went through. :'( And when only Nonoka and Shione remembered Noel after the saucer disappeared... In the end it was great that moeblob Noel was reincarnated, so a nice feel good ending. I just wished Noel had more background story: Where did she come from exactly? Has she helped others before or was she purely Nonoka and co's creation from their desire to summon a saucer? Why did the general townspeople slowly lose interest in the saucer despite it's supernatural appearance? In the end maybe I'm thinking too deeply into it, and perhaps it just comes down to it being a simple feel good story to fix Nonoka's friendships with her childhood friends.

Haven't heard of Copy before, be interesting to see how you go with it. I'm stilling using Dropbox on the pro version, am very happy with the speed it syncs on the desktop client. The iOS mobile apps work really well too. Only used 50 GB so far out of the 1 TB limit. If you get the chance, maybe try Dropbox on Linux too, it seems they have a Ubuntu version which should work with Linux Mint: https://www.dropbox.com/install?os=lnx

Interesting. I have seen the Metro tiles on a few machines and had a short play before. Not a big fan of the "flat design" tiles and colours though I'm sure it will grow on me. Is it possible though to change the background image around the tiles (not the tiles themselves) ? Maybe an anime pattern or picture could spruce it up a bit.

On forums my preference is to upload directly as an attachment. Having said that I noticed on many forums, attachments are not viewable to guests (this isn't the case on Anime Forums though ) imgur is my second preference if attachments aren't a viable option. Occasionally I'll use the Public folder on my Dropbox as it's super convenient, just drag and drop it into the Public folder, uploads automatically then just right-click the file and copy the public link. But I use it much it's not really meant for long term sharing.

I've chosen a 5 day training course as my PD course this year as I wanted to better learn about Windows 8 from a support perspective (since I work in IT at work). Specifically the course is 20687D - Configuring Windows 8.1. I'm curious what your thoughts are on Windows 8 in general: Are you currently using it? If not have you or are you considering moving to it sometime this year? If you are using it, how are you finding it? Personally I'm still using Windows 7 myself at home, I chose the Windows 8 course as they're not really offering Windows 7 courses anymore due to lack of demand (which is of course understandable).

Second episode was better and Julie was adorable as usual, but where are the action scenes that we see in the OP? Hope it picks up soon. On a random note, the school IDs are pretty elaborate looking: [spoiler=Julie's school ID]

Lots of moe in episode two. [spoiler=Poor Fubuki] Getting all that extra training from the light cruiser sisters and almost no sleep... Akagi eating so much was cute too. Hopefully more combat next episode.

It is supposed to yes. However it also checks the original image and updates the stored copy every week if it has changed. (i.e. if you're using a signature for example) It seems Imgur serves a branded "expired image" placeholder when the image expires due to inactivity, instead of giving a normal broken image from the browser. So from the forum's perspective, the image hasn't broken and refreshed its copy with the branded "expired image" placeholder. I'll see what options there are to work around that.

Hello @Sylar, welcome to Anime Forums. Linkin Park... now that brings back memories. Their older albums used to be in so many AMVs years ago. Hybrid Theory and Meteora come to mind.

With such a glowing review and being disappointed with Absolute Duo I'll definitely have to give this a go.

My Christmas and New Year holiday break has come to an end, back to full-time work during the week. It just means I'll only be able to check in once a day in contrast to 2-3 times a day.

I found this pretty average. I think I'm worn out from harem and ecchi from Date a Live and Sora no Otoshimono. Thing is those two had some very interesting Sci-Fi hooks. Absolute Duo's hook is these Blaze armaments, but it's just not drawing me in yet. The silver haired character Julie is cute. Throughout the episode though I got the sense that Tooru's voice sounded really familiar... and indeed it's the same seiyuu that did Kirito from Sword Art Online.

I really enjoyed the first episode. The amount of detail that's in the food and its preparation is startlingly detailed and accurate (not that I'm a food expert), it truly does look mouthwatering. That hot pot for example... Seeing Ryou eat with such passion was kind of cute in a way. [spoiler=Kirin feeding Ryou.] OP and EDs are really catchy too! And that preview... the slow zoom in effect is so mesmerizing. I look forward to seeing more of this series.

Great to see Inaho back. [spoiler=Episode 01] Good action and outstanding animation as usual but... Just what is Slaine up to? Forming an alliance with Count Saazbaum after he shot Princess Asseylum?? Inaho has the ability to activate Aldnoah Drives too just from him kissing Asseylum before?? Suppose we'll find out more exactly what happened between the events that occurred 19 months ago...

Of course we all know what Microsoft Office is. What version are you using the most? This might vary depending whether you use it purely at work, home or maybe at school/College/university. Or maybe you don't use it at all? Currently I'm using Office 2011 for Mac the most due to work, however at home on my desktop I use Office 2013. I haven't tried Office 365 yet... How about you?

I truly forgot about that. My favourite chocolate of all time would have to be Ferrero Rocher. It's a hazelnut inside wafer with hazenut cream, chocolate and hazelnut bits.
