Noticed that Blu-ray set is available for preorder on CDJapan for 54,800 yen ($455 USD) for a March 3rd, 2015 release date: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/BIXA-9470 Apparently it's a digital remaster, but it's still 4: 3 aspect ratio. So looks like it's just an upscale and not a HD redraw. Just stick with the Western DVD releases.

Steins;gate... Might be worth getting one of those external USB DVD drives, noticed on Amazon they range from $15-20. Or maybe go all the way and get an external Blu-ray drive which I did.

Anyone else that liked this older magical girl title? The pacing of the plot is absolutely spot on from Madoka's point of view, her going from a happy life, slowly turning into a battle of morality and inner turmoil among those close to her after discovering a parallel world of magical girls battling witches. Secondly well, it's not your typical magical girl title with moe fan service. There is some action, but it's most definitely a psychological thriller for the reasons stated above. Definitely a must-see to those that haven't watched it before.

So much for Angel Beats... turns out it's an original title called Charlotte, animated by P.A. Works for a launch sometime in 2015. By writer Jun Maeda (Little Busters, Clannad and of course Angel Beats) so this has peaked my interest.

I really liked ALDNOAH.ZERO for its tense mecha battles and awesome OST, but other than it wasn't overly memorable. I am however really looking forward to this as I want to see what happens after that ridiculous cliffhanger they pulled in the first series. Anyone else looking forward to this one? Funimation is releasing a complete Bluray box set for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun) on January 20, 2015. I must admit this title peaked my interest after looking at your Misaka gallery, @drill. What's this series like? Action with supernatural within a modern setting? Thinking of pre-ordering it on Amazon.

I'm glad that arc is over, overall was way too melodramatic for my liking. At least Asuna got some much deserved screen-time within SAO II, as I was afraid she was just going to be a spectator throughout the GGO arc.

The amount of bundled adware, browser toolbars and unwanted content in some installers these days is staggering. Recently I updated my Vuze (formerly Azureus), a Bitorrent client to the latest version and received two prompts to bundle various browser toolbars after opting for a "Custom" install: Then I received two more prompts to install some "bonus" applications: I'll continue to use Vuze on this occasion, but may be time to look for a more lightweight client. What are your thoughts on adware? Have you had to prevent any from being installed lately or removed any after they were installed on your system?

I occasionally have the habit of starting too many new projects/games/hobbies/tasks to the point where it gets out of control. i.e. no scope control. BUT I assure you though that's not the case for Anime Forums.

All this coffee talk is reminding me of that anime title Is the Order a Rabbit: I reckon it works best early in the morning. Late morning or afternoon it tends to make you more tired, but it's up to the individual of course. Having said that, I am guilty of drinking coffee when I used to do late shift work at night. That sounds pretty fancy @drill, how was the taste?

I will be quite busy until this weekend as I need to finalise things at work for the end of the year. Will be fully committed again this weekend as Christmas holidays start then.

Tonight I plan on watching the first episode of Clannad After Story from the Blu-ray set I imported from Amazon.
