Maybe it's time for a holiday then! Any upcoming holiday plans @Pokii -san? I would like to go to Japan again but I really really want to improve my Japanese first. Just enough to support my anime hobby and this community.

Jibril was fricken hilarious. I only know Okabe and Lelouch from your list but it seems they both carry heavy burdens i.e. the actions they made had the implication to change the world severely and both had long journeys.

Who are your favourite anime characters with wings? My top two are: 1. Nymph from Sora no Otoshimono. Mainly because she is really cute and gets embarrassed easily but also she is a major part of the plot in this anime TV series. 2. Purple Heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia the Animation. Just because she looks cool and is pretty powerful.

Yeah some of the fansub groups tend to put the subtitles too low... If they're soft subtitles you should be able to override this. If you're using VLC player you can move the subtitles using the "Force subtitle position" option here:

This discussion includes both seasons, Little Busters! and Little Busters!: Refrain. Thoughts on this anime? Favorite characters? If you played the VN, how did you like it, and how do you compare it do the anime? For me, the main path to the VN was several times better in comparison to the first season. Overall though, I'm not too fond of the individual paths until Refrain is reached. Refrain in one word is... amazing. Although I haven't reached that far in the VN, I've heard that it is just as good if not better. Also, my favorite character is Kyousuke, no real competition there .

So usually an anime character with an eyepatch symbolises mystery... something unique which ties in to the plot, or it could just be for aesthetic purposes. Random examples: Mei Misaki - Another Shindou Chihiro - ef: A tale of Memories Rikka Takanashi - Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai. My current favourite as it ties in with her personality and past. Who is your current favourite and why?

It's epic! I've only watched ufotable's Fate/Zero prior to this and have never played any of the VNs so it's a very fresh experience for me. I know I must be cliche but Saber is my favourite character. Rin is pretty cool too but I hope she gives Shiro Emiya a break soon! Great action, very atmospheric music and the pacing of the story is done really well. Looking forward to episode 04. That cliffhanger, agh!

Yeah I agree the screen time for all the characters of Sword Art Online is all over the place. I still prefer the SAO outfits over AO, especially Silica's one: The manga and light novels probably had much more backstory.

Kurisu without a doubt. She kept Okabe going even during the most bleakest moments. I mean of course Mayuri supported Okabe too but then you had that recurring paradox which involved her which naturally drove Okabe almost insane. :'(

Also known as Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! I'm currently watching this series and admit I was drawn to this series by Rikka's interesting character design. I also noticed a lot of merchandise for this anime TV series during my visit in Japan so I told myself to watch it one day after my return. I've just finished episode 10/12 and am really enjoying it so far. It definitely has a familiar feel to the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, in the sense that Rikka Takanashi puts the main male lead Yuuta Togashi in awkward, cringe-worthy but funny moments. And yes they both form their own clubs. But unlike Haruhi, there are no supernatural elements in this show. It's all in Rikka's mind, yet the way Yuuta and Rikka develop after their first meeting is interesting and I felt the method used to unveil Rikka's past was done very well. Anyone else have any thoughts on this series? I noticed there's a second series that aired recently, though it doesn't appear to be rated very highly...

Ah I see. Well I've ordered both Clannad and Clannad After Story it from Amazon and should arrive next week, I keep seeing this title come up from time to time and it seems a lot of people highly recommended so I'm looking forward to seeing it!

@drill: this idea was placed on hold as we couldn't fully agree on which anime character(s) would have the honour of saying "Onii/Onee-Chan" As everyone had different favourites I couldn't choose one. :'( I was investigating whether we could make an option where members could choose their preference from a list in their profile, but that would likely require some custom development. Alternatively maybe alternate randomly between different character images for the pop-up (easiest option probably!) So yeah, that's where it's currently at.

I've been playing around with Twitter it for sometime now and I think it has the best hashtag system compared to FB and Tumblr.
