The more I hear and learn about animal behaviour the more I realise that they're much smarter and more intelligent than we think they are.
@Sakura, In the anime series Sing Yesterday For Me one of the main characters has a tame crow.
You may think it sucks, but your art looks fine to me. It looks like what it's supposed to be- unlike my efforts which look nothing like what I've tried to draw!
It certainly is, and that's really all that matters.
After a miserable start the day turned out quite nice this afternoon so I went out into the garden and dealt with the triffid by the back gate that attacks me every time I go out. I also removed a lot of ivy from the back fence, but I think got a hopeless battle against that stuff.
When I was at work someone did something similar, and triggered a full scale building evacuation we also had three fire engines turn up one of which had a large turntable escape ladder. . The fire engines also caused a huge traffic jam as they blocked half the road.
Today it's cold, damp and miserable here.
They both look great. I think I've got the dark theme on here as well because the transparent version has a black background on my monitor so it looks more spooky and halloweenish than the white background.
This one is from Chihayafuru, a rather long, and quite good, series about a group of students who play competitive Karuta. Which is a card game that is popular in Japan that requires a high degree of agility and memory.
It's good to hear that you avoided the worst of the force of the storms and are OK. A con is probably a good thing to take people's mind off the effects of the storm.
You're clearly a great teacher who cares about your students.
I wish I'd had a teacher like you, most of my teachers weren't all that interested in their students, or the subject they were supposed to be teaching in a couple of cases!
@Zeref I'm not sure we wanted to know those!
You do realise I hope that you've now seriously raised the anxiety levels for @Sakura, @Kirika_Madeleine, @neverletmego and myself
I've now finished watching Alya Sometimes Hides Her Felling in Russian. Initially I wasn't impressed with the level of fanservice in the first two episodes and nearly dropped the series, but I decided to give it another couple of episodes. I was glad I did because it settled down a bit later on and the interactions between the various characters was interesting. Once the student council election battle started I enjoyed the interplay and schemes employed by the competing factions. I hope this series gets a second season as the final episode ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger.
