I don't function well in the morning either. I might get up early but I'm running on auto-pilot. Now that sounds really rough. Getting home at 8 or 9pm is bad enough but then having to do 2 hours homework is seriously bad news. I hope that routine won't last for too long.

Sometimes when it comes to colours less is more . And I think that one is one of those times.

It's worth watching and has certainly got an intriguing storyline, very little of which has anything to do with bunny girls.

Yes, a few years ago there was a crime show where they would tell viewers about a crime and then a police officer would come in and ask if anyone in the area at the time had information about the crime to contact the police or the programme. I also quite like the shows where a camera crew ride with the traffic police. Have you ever been stopped by the police while out in your car?

This morning I spent some time digging the weeds out from between the paving slabs outside the back door which was much harder work that I thought it would be. After lunch I changed the bed and did some washing.

Well I've finally finished my first GFX sig, well it's not really my first sig as I've had two previous ones but they were fairly basic and this is the first one I've really put some effort into creating. It's based on my favourite series and I think it turned out quite well and I liked it enough to use it.

OK, here's a short list of recommendations for you. A Place Further Than the Universe: Despite the title this is not a sci-fi series. It's a slice of life series about four girls who take part in a life changing adventure. It's an excellent series and well worth watching. Yuru Camp: A slice of life about a group of girls who enjoy going on camping trips, cooking food and admiring the countryside. A wonderfully laid back series that's highly recommended. Hyouka: A great series about a about a guy who would rather do nothing and expend as little effort as possible who meets a girl in his school who has an insatiable curiosity and wants to know the answers to various mysterious events that happen around the school. This is another great series that's worth watching. Charlotte: In a world where some teenagers develop para-normal abilities there is a small group who seek them out to protect them from criminal gangs who want to exploit their abilities and scientists who want to experiment on them to learn about their abilities in order to use them. This is a sci-fi series set in a rather chilling world, it's a great story but some of the episodes contain quite violent scenes.

A while back the temp reached 45C and it was treated as some sort of emergency and we were all advised to stay indoors and not travel and the main railway stations gave out free bottles of water. At the other end of the scale -17C would cause quite a few problems. The UK just doesn't have regular swings between extremes of hot and cold weather so we're not really equipped to deal with it. If the outside temp was -17C I'd stay firmly indoors, but then us older people feel the cold more.

A chocolate cake

I'm not going to come and live in your part of the world, 101F/38C would finish me off . It's 27C/80 F here at the moment which is a bit too warm for my liking. The rest of the week is apparently going to be cooler at 22C/71F which is much more comfortable.

This is more of a "what did I do yesterday" than a "what did I do today" because I forgot to post it yesterday Saturday was a good day because the only one of my friends who likes anime came round for the day and we binge-watched a whole 12 episode series.
