Would sound a lot better if I didn't have a test coming up. Sleeeeep.~ I recently got a plush mattress topper and now I've been having the best sleep schedule of my life.  Watch out for dream thieves and nightmare goblins. Sleep too long and they'll prey on you. x3 Not sure. I'll probably do things around the house.

I won't.  Later today I have a prep exam and the test Fri. Saturday it's Spring cleaning and paperwork. Looks like I'll have to get back to Mashiro no Oto on Sunday. We can talk on MAL but I'm not very active on there unless it's to update my lists and answer messages. Have fun on your break!

Forgot to put it in the message but I think you might like Violet Evergarden. I finished it last month and thought it was good. 

I've heard so much about it and it looks beautiful! Will eventually get around to it, some of the color schemes remind me of Howl's Moving Castle. Very serene and theatrical. 

Zabuza and Haku are kind of a fucked up bond but still it's strangely wholesome in the end. And they are in fact actually dead... but if you stick with the Series long enough... you do get one last chance to see both of them again

That is a heavy hitting anime list you grew up with, one of the first times a stranger has thrown a list out like that where I've actually SEEN a decent amount of each of them lol.

Early Pokemon was nice ESPECIALLY the movies, I've seen all of DBZ and Sailor Moon (though I dont recall SM as much), saw like 80% of Bleach sporadically over time and like... 50 random episodes of One Piece. I think streaming and binge culture have cheapened the experience personally, I feel what you're saying about all these short anime that are consumed in a weeks time.

I feel like moderation and choosing to take a few months to watch a longer anime instead of consuming as fast as possible makes a stronger bond between the viewer and the show. It's having something represent a whole ass time in your life instead of... like... your life between April 2nd and April 6th

I haven't seen Beck or Nana, but a quick google search tells me you're probably really into music if those 2 shows really spoke to you lol

They are! I've heard about that but I just like playing as them in the Clash of Ninja series and pretending they didn't die.

Oh yeah? Which were your favorites? Kind of strange that Bleach is coming back for its final manga arc. It's like seeing an old friend again.  

I think that's why my anime repertoire is lacking in comparison to others. I take a long while on 50+ episodes. Well, in my own defense, most of these shows aired daily an episode or two at a time! 

Music is a nice sub-genre but I really like the Slice of Life aspect of these two shows a little more.  

I think DBZ would be my favorite of the group with Bleach being right behind. There's already thousands of people out there that can explain why DBZ is so good, but I will say that with Bleach the action was always tight and flashy EVEN when it came to side characters getting the spotlight. Love Rukia, Ichigo, Hitsugaya, KENPACHI, love the early art style and everyones designs, and of course LOTS of good opening and ending themes. I dont know a thing about the upcoming anime arc, but you're right it's like an old face you havent seen since you were a kid

Is "slice of life" your go-to genre of anime? I've seen my fair share "Azumanga Daioh", "Lucky Star", "Komi Can't Communicate", they all feel really cozy to me lol

It's a movie but the story details are still on the hush. x3

Thank you! I've only seen Digimon Adventure but it was so long ago. x.x Looks like I need to re-watch and watch all the other Digimon shows too! I really like their designs. ^^ 

“I've got a Genesis Mini but gah! I hate the controller response delay.” THIS. Very frustrating. I loaned my sister my SNES when she went away to college, but never got it back  At least I still have my Gamecube & Gameboy Player (attaches to the Gamecube & lets you play GB/GBC/GBA games on your tv using the GC controller). The only “system” I’ve played recently is my DS XL (downloaded several SNES & Game Gear games thru the e-shop). Would love to get a Switch, but don’t really have the budget or time to enjoy one 

@Sonic Yakuza would be crazy as an anime.  IF they do it any justice. Looking at you Ace Attorney! >.< 

@Ohayotaku Wow, I'm sorry that your sister stole your SNES! I don't have many games for the Cube but I love to play it when I get the chance. There are some versions of games I like more than others on cross-plat. Like Twin Snakes and I like Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast more than the Cube version. Aww, wish I could gift you a Switch! x3 It's a nice gaming experience, my favorite being Breath of the Wild. Hope you can get one in the near future!

@Ohayotaku Yikes! Talk about bad hardware! & Dang that sounds like your SNES got stolen o.o I missed the GameBoy Player! I always wanted to get one but i never owned it since my family where against it since we had GBA thanks to our friend for letting him have his. But that's why i have so many Nintendo Emulators on my PC (just don't let Nintendo themselves know)

You're welcome Soramee! I had a friend that was obsessed with Lucky Star and it was super cute because she had a lot of merch of it. Thank you for reminding me of her. :3 We don't see each other anymore but good times be good! 

I need to watch Lucky Star one day, it got away from me.

Also I am sure you will like lucky star, It's a nice and cozy type of anime and one that make a lot of reference to 90's anime. ~(˘▾˘~)
