  4. Finished Tomo-chan is a Girl. I enjoyed this series quite a bit this season. One of the better rom-coms I've seen lately. Also, I finished Nagatoro 2 over this past weekend, and I have to say, I enjoyed the show for the most part throughout, but I'm highly dissatisfied with how they ended that season. Just felt like Naoto and Nagatoro would have been further along in their relationship by then. I 'unno... All I've been watching lately has been Nagatoro 2 and Tomo-chan. I think I'm ready to shift gears away from simulcasts for a time and try to watch some older titles. My preference is that most or all of the episodes of a show are dropped and ready for viewing back to back. The plan is to dig in and watch Fate/Zero. I began watching that series near the end of last year, but I never made it past the second episode. My apologies, @MediaConsumesMe. I shall correct this error.
  5. Roxanne by The Police. We play a pretty extensive list of songs at work, and this is one that will play every now and again throughout the day. Whenever it would come on, my dad would hear it and try to sing along to it... but unfortunately, my dad was severely tone-deaf. He couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. He knew it, but he didn't care at all. He'd just wail away. I think he would have made Simon Cowell recoil in horror with the noises he made. But, he got a lot of laughs out of all of us (and any customers that were present when he did it). Always reminds me of him and his little "performances" when I hear it, and makes me laugh a little.
  6. Stop looking for the perfect match... use a lighter. If a child refuses to nap, are they guilty of resisting a rest?
  7. More than the average person would. I have 15 pens and 28 pipes. It's a start I guess.
  8. I'd say my main hobbies involve collecting. I seem to go through phases with what I'm interested in collecting from time to time. Here lately, my interest is in collecting fountain pens and bottled inks (hence why my occupation subtitle reads "ink junkie"). I've slowed down on that, though, because they ain't exactly cheap. Granted, I'm not spending $9K+ on one pen (that's a bloody down-payment on a car! ), but after a while, $20 here and $35 there adds up. The pens I've collected thus far are all new, but some day I'd like to get an old, vintage pen from way back in the day, maybe early 20th or late 19th century... if I can find and afford one. I also collect stationery, because hey. Why not? I enjoy the feel of writing on paper and making my own personal marks on it. Other items I like to collect are tobacco pipes, which I have also slowed down on for the same reason as fountain pens, only they tend to be more expensive on average than a pen does. I imagine it's only a matter of time before I find something else that I develop an interest in and collect. I would like to collect postage stamps if there was more variety in them (or rather, it wasn't all junk-mail and credit card solicitations filling up my mailbox). Keeping a personal journal is something I've been doing for years on and off, but since I started getting fountain pens, I've been making entries just about every other day or so, instead of only once every three to six months at a time (gotta find some use for all those pens and ink).
