  3. @daversjamers I fully agree with you on that one. I dislike EVA. It's too depressing and dark for myself. As far as anything else. Paranoia Agent has a few shocking moments
  4. Anyone care to list recommendations for anime type PSX PSP PS2 games? I've googled for awhile and I'm only finding the same old Naruto dragonballz type games. I need something not well known and/or obscure. Thanks and have a great weekend.
  5. Currently playing some old PSX and PS2 games. Espgaluda is great but short.
  6. Thanks for the replies. I am going to be more open minded and watch dubbed or subbed. It's all good. Golden boy The Ping Pong Club and Burn Up W were always hilarious introductions to dubs for me.
  7. Acid jazz comes to mind when speaking of jazz.

  10. I play emulators mostly (PSX PS2 PSP Saturn Dreamcast) The games I play have mostly been Dating Sims VNs puzzles jrpgs fighters and a few other types. The last console game I put many hours into was nier and nier automata for Xbox Series. I sold and gave most of my consoles and physical games away months ago. On PC I have been into FlyFF through the years. Mostly private servers. But recently got bored with it. Played Toram on Steam for awhile too. But no one to talk to or grind with on there. So I stopped. All the games I play at the moment have been offline and emulation. Had a lot of cool memories from that series. It's awesome. Wasted time getting drunk in-game burping and farting on people once I got bored.

  12. I love seeing stuff that is added in the anime adaptation. I also like the fact that sometimes you can read the manga and find extra things left out of the anime. Vice-versa. It's all exciting. Anime is awesome in any given format to me. Manga is great digitally. But I still love those paperbacks. The new manga smell or even used. It makes me feel awesome
  13. I prefer English subbed and original voice language anime. But there are rarely quite a few anime that were done great in English dubbing. Whichever you prefer. List which animes really sounded great in English.
  14. I've known about this series since I first got into anime. Just now watching it. It's a real heart warming story. Yet I always prefer comedic anime. To heart really is good.
  15. @PogFrog thanks for the suggestions. I still have the golden boy series. It is really seriously hilarious. A #1 in my opinion. The dubbing actually was perfect in my opinion. @Animedragon I'm gonna check out K on thanks for that suggestion. @Ohayotaku I have asobi asobase. Just haven't watched it yet. I will make sure to watch soon. Thank you everyone
  16. @PogFrog Daily Lives of Highschool Boys is so freakin hilarious. I just watched the first few episodes. I will check others in the list you mentioned as well. Thank you so much Made my day better. @efaardvark I got nichijou it's a favorite. I just checked out Aheran-san. I love it. Will check more out. Thank you thanks to everyone for the kind replies and suggestions.
  17. I'm currently looking for more recommendations of anime with less to no romance. Anime with side-splitting comedy Any suggestions? Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.
  18. The Ping Pong Club was a hilarious comedy that got me started. I had first got my taste of anime at a local comic book store. I rented it on VHS and that was 1998. After that I decided to try different ones based on what the comic book store offered. It was a mix as follows. The Ping pong club (hilarious but can be vulgar) Cat girl nuku nuku (it's ok) Serial experiments lain (it's ok for viewing through once) Evangelion (way too depressing for me ) I was led to try more comedic anime as the years went by
  19. Thank you to all of you for welcoming me here. @PogFrog thanks for the suggestions. I haven't watched any of those. But those are next on my list. Thanks
  20. Hello everyone \everynyan I've been looking for a good place to meet others that share that same interests as myself. Forums seem to be best place and nontoxic for the soul. I love comedic anime\manga. It's my only hobby besides doing exercise and Zen. Looking forward to getting to know and communicating with everyone. Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. Follow and add me if you wish. Take care all.
  21. Yuyushiki (laid back SOL comedy) Amagi brilliant park (hilarious)
  22. Probably already watched or been recommended but.... Chios School Road is a great comedy with funny action scenes.
