Because I enjoy variety. While I certainly have my preferences, just watching certain genres is too restrictive for me. And I actually find it very fulfilling when a series I had little expectations for manages to surprise me. As to why for this series in particular, while certainly not an “A” list title, I do have an interest in myth/legend/folklore/fairytale themes. Considering it’s getting a 3rd season, apparently I’m not alone in finding it at least somewhat enjoyable (though I do hope they decide to wrap things up this time around, as I could see losing interest if things drag out too long).

I generally prefer romcoms over romantic drama’s, but the Fruits Basket remake proved that there are exceptions.

I was a bit harsh in my one sentence question , i see now haha. i didnt mean it like that. Just wondering since you and i like a lot of the same animes, So i was curious since i personally rather watch grass grow than anime rom com

ps: i have watched everything on my 'to watch list' . So if you have a new recommendation of something great you watched, please let me know

Ah it didn't show up until now. As for DanMachi season 5 I would lean towards summer of next year. Looks like most season were out in July or October with October being a part 2 of a season. That is usually how I look at it if the show is very popular and the studio doesn't have any big shows planned for that time announced.

What is a good site to see if a serie has been popular? does chrunchyroll reports viewing numbers?

Those 101 estimates are probably going to be as accurate as you'll ever find. Until a studio actually makes an official statement that a sequel to a series is going to be made no one really knows if it will be made or not.

Well i thought some sites take other things in account:

    - which studio made it?

    - how sucessfull was it?

    - how much time between previous seasons?

    - How much manga material left?

That seems better than just a fan opinion. Must be a site that looks at such things?

Since you seem to use IMDB as your reference site:  https://m.imdb.com/title/tt22249034/?ref_=fn_al_tt_10

It’s more shounen so the violence isn’t as graphically detailed as Hell’s Paradise,  Dororo, etc.

You might enjoy this as well https://m.imdb.com/title/tt25534100/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

That’s the version I was talking about. As stated I didn’t really get into it but did remind me of Hell’s Paradise.

Ahh i understand you now. TY. But this one was way more dark than Hells paradise.

I am now starting ep 1 of Rurouni Kenshin. You forgot to spell the 'u'. And then IMDB doesnt find it. haha perhaps i need to change reference sites. But been using IMDB for so long now for everything
