  1. Currently watching Garo: Guren no Tsuki. i like it but compared to the other two season's of this show it's not as good. I feel like the story is a bit rushed and I feel like it needs some more back story to understand what is currently happening.
  2. Hey @Frith, the story line sounded promising but they got actors to do the voices like Jaden Smith for the man character and then the dialog sounds forced with a lot of cussing that seems unnecessary.
  3. I love winter though my favorite season is spring. What are your top 5 favorite anime?
  4. The only Netflix anime that was an absolute disaster so far in my opinion is Neo Yokio. After barely 10 min i couldn't stand to watch it. Just awful dialog and voice acting. Seven Deadly Sins , Kuromurko, Magi series, Cyborg 009, and what i started of Ajin they were all pretty good.
  5. I seriously got into anime through my ex-husband. One of only a few things that were positive out of the marriage.
  6. Another, well I've watched 2 eps and then started watching something else so haven't fully invested time into yet. so I guess I'll give it 6/10. Garo : Vanishing Line
  7. Hey @Typhenstein I random pick sometimes too. I will say don't watch Neo Tokyo on netflix that anime is pure crap. Souleater is a great one. They made Souleater Not. it's not as good I kinda stalled on it so haven't watched the whole thing yet. If you need any suggestion don't hesitate to ask someone is always willing to give recommendations.
  8. Currently started something new so I was going through my Crunchyroll queue and wound up on Jormungand. It's very interesting. Weapons running and a band of skilled misfits and one kid soldier seems complex only in 2 episodes but I want to see where it goes.
  9. My choices go to Say I love you, My love story, Paradise Kiss , and Orange (though it's pretty emotional).
  10. Okay so I saw some good ones but if you are old enough I suggest Paradise Kiss it's older but it's pretty good in my opinion
  11. So on crunchyroll and totally stumbled upon a really cool anime seems like it has a lot of different series' It's called Garo: Vanshing Line. It's got bad-ass character named Sword who drives a totally tricked out motorcycle who helps him battle demon like creatures.
  12. I find my self drawn to sports, drama, romance, action, music, reverse harem, and yaoi. So pretty much everything hahahah
  13. @SoullessMarshmallow I get what your saying she's just kinda blah sometimes. Though there has been a few times that I've seen her face brighten up i think her and Ellias will take their time developing more emotions as time goes by. I think Chise feeling normal in her skin knowing who she is and getting to know magic more will develop her character more.
  14. @CheesyTrees If your referring to plot like ending I don't know either but as I see the plot now is mostly about Chise and the relationship with Ellias and their life together. Her finally understanding her gifts and that she's not crazy and Ellias feeling and understanding humanity and then their relationship growing together. Well that is my opinion anyway. To me finding out what's next keeps me coming back for more.
  15. I use crunchyroll for free @SleepyLeoulf, I can't pay for a subscription either. lol Your welcome can't wait to see what you think about it.
  16. @SleepyLeoulf where do you normally watch. It's currently airing on crunchyroll but i also us www.nwanime.tv (though this has a lot of extra pop ups you have to close).
  17. @Hamsloth I totally agree like I much rather be in an anime world weather it be sports anime, being a ninja, or having a magical power seems way cooler than this boring world.
  18. I think the mere fact that anime can affect weather negative or positive is a clear indication that the show can tap into real life emotions and make you feel something. I think any show weather anime or not is one of their objectives. I think the article was one-sided opinion though. I mean I have gotten mad at characters or scenes before but I mostly find that anime has positive messages like the underdog not giving up and continue fighting, or i find myself really responding to sports anime. Those really get me on the edge of my seat and make me root for the teams like I was watching real sports. I think we take what we want when we watch. It's always up to the viewer what is focused upon and what is taken away by watching it.
  19. So I don't know what your age is but an older anime that is romance and not rom-com is Paradise Kiss this anime is good. I feel like Vampire Knight is an action romance. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head at the moment that is strictly romance.
  20. Well I do watch on Crunchyroll but I've used Hulu, Netflix, as well as animefreak.tv and nwanime.tv. I like the last two sites the only downside is the popups you have to close. Netflix doesn't have a lot of anime on it so you can run out of shows to watch fairly quickly. I use to have a subscription to Hulu pretty cheaply like 5 or 7 bucks a month. Hulu had a bigger library of shows last I remember.
  21. I really like the vagueness BurnsyCEO. I mean sometimes I hate however shows even regular shows are so predictable that you start to feel like you are watching the same things over and over again. The show makes me excited to see what next adventure is in store and what new characters are going to show up next?? I feel that's what lends to its appeal even more.
  22. brycec are you referring to the first three episodes of the series or the first three ova's they put out before the series started. I haven't read the manga but I'll most likely go back to read it because I really enjoy the anime.
  23. If you are watch The Ancient Magus' Bride what are your thoughts??
  24. Netflix doesn't have too many anime on it though what they do have is pretty good. Except Neo Tokyo DO NOT WATCH that one. Kuromukuro , Magi: Adventure of Sinbad, and The Seven Deadly Sins are really good. Hey Wedgy thanks for the suggestion Recovery of a MMO Junkie is currently one of the 19 shows I am watching I love that one. Beocat, The Ancient Magnus Bride is a beautiful masterpiece in my opinion. The imagery and story line are excellent. There were 3 ova's that came out first before the series actually started. I suggest that it is a definite must watch!! So I kept seeing clips of Blend S so I decided to watch it. OMG so funny I love it. Maikio's character is so funny. I advise everyone to see it although it does have ecchi moments. I'm watching Adventures of a Magi on Netflix right now. Has anyone else watched? So totally got the title wrong on what I am watching. Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic.
