Way too hot today! It was 93F inside the house when I got home today. Over 100 outside. It was even hotter at work earlier in the day.

Oh no! Lately I would die without AC. I'm in a desert and if it's dry and I'm out of the direct sun then I'm usually fine to around 90, especially if I have a cold drink and maybe a small fan to keep the air moving. Recently it has been well over 90 however, and more humid than usual as well. I do not approve of that combo!
Fortunately in my case my AC was off by design. I have the thermostat set to keep it off for most of the day while I'm at work and only turn it on in the late afternoon when I usually get home from work. That day I got home a bit early. I may want to change the timing however. It took over an hour to bring the temp down to something reasonable.
