Start Small Don’t try to draw One Piece on your first try. Begin with a one-shot or short story to avoid burnout. (Even Oda struggled early on!) Write a Solid Story First Plot holes hit harder than Goku’s Kamehameha. Outline your arcs, flesh out characters, and decide your ending before drawing. Art Style? Steal. I Mean, Study Every mangaka borrows from their faves. Copy poses, expressions, and paneling from pros (Toriyama, Takehiko Inoue, etc.) until you develop your own flair. Paneling = Pacing – Bad panel flow kills tension. Read Death Note or Tokyo Ghoul to see how masters guide the eye. Consistency > Perfection – A "meh" manga you finish is better than a perfect one stuck in draft hell. Set a page-per-week goal and stick to it. Feedback is Painful (But Necessary) – Share drafts with harsh friends or online communities. If they say "I don’t get it," fix it. Tools Don’t Matter (Much) Clip Studio Paint? Pen and paper? Stick figures? Use what you’re comfy with. (But if you go digital, learn layers like your sanity depends on it.)

I will agree with you on this both are really good.

"Kimi ni Todoke" when Sawako finally confesses to Kazehaya in the snow pure, wholesome, and so worth the wait.
-
"Cosplay Picnic? That sounds like the best combo ever good food, great vibes, and everyone showing off their favorite characters! Perfect for chilling in the sun while still flexing those cosplay skills. Hope there’s lots of snacks and photo ops!

"Wow, this cosplay showcase is amazing! The attention to detail is next level some of these looks are straight out of the anime/game! Love seeing all the creativity and passion.
-
Oh, I love seeing creative cosplays especially when people put their own unique spin on classic characters! Some of my favorites are casual versions of anime or game characters, like a streetwear Zelda or a laid-back Spider-Man. It’s cool how people blend fandom with everyday style.

Any ideas for beginner cosplayers
DylanMax replied to Little_Anime_Lover's topic in Cosplay & Conventions
Oh, for beginner cosplayers, I’d say start with something simple but iconic like a casual anime character (think Tanjiro’s comfy outfit from Demon Slayer or Izuku Midoriya’s UA uniform from *My Hero Academia*). Or go for a low-effort but recognizable look, like Ash Ketchum’s hat and jacket. Most importantly have fun with it! No one starts perfect. -
"Oh, anime and gaming cons are the best total chaos but so much fun! Cosplayers bringing their A-game, panels with wild discussions, and that one merch booth that always drains your wallet. Plus, the energy is just chef’s kiss.

My very own Optimus Prime cosplay.
DylanMax replied to Jokinglytimeless1994's topic in Cosplay & Conventions
Dude, that’s epic Optimus Prime is such an iconic choice! There’s something so satisfying about rocking that giant, heroic Autobot energy, whether it’s with a full armor build or just nailing the voice and stance. Plus, you know people are gonna lose it when they see you transform (or at least strike a pose). Keep repping the leader of the Autobots! -
Oh, I cosplay because it’s just so much fun like stepping into another world for a bit! Whether it’s bringing a favourite character to life, geeking out over the craftsmanship, or just vibing with the cosplay community, it’s a mix of creativity, fandom, and pure joy. Plus, who doesn’t love seeing people’s reactions when you nail a costume?

FanimeCon – San Jose, CA (super chill West Coast vibe.

Oh, dream cosplay? I’d totally go for something epic like Sephiroth from Final Fantasy that long silver hair and giant sword would be so fun to pull off! Or maybe something more low-key but iconic, like **Spike Spiegel** from *Cowboy Bebop*—just rocking that effortless cool vibe.

Oh man, Anime Cons are the best! I love the energy everyone’s just so hyped to be there, geeking out over their favorite shows and characters. The cosplays are insane too seeing people put so much passion into their outfits is next-level inspiring. Plus, it’s the perfect place to meet fellow fans, snag cool merch, and just vibe in a space where no one judges your obsession with niche anime. 10/10 would recommend.
-
Yeah you cant actually blame on that.
-
"Totally! Mainstream anime is popular for a reason great for starters or just easy binge-watching. Stuff like *Demon Slayer* or *Jujutsu Kaisen* has hype fights, solid stories, and big fandoms to geek out with. But no pressure if you vibe with niche stuff more, own it.
-
"Ugh, Japan censoring anime? Guess we’ll have to rely on *imagination* for those ‘steamy’ scenes now. But for, hope it doesn’t kill the creative vibe too much!"
-
"Thicc girls bring the confidence and curves love seeing people own their vibe!

Well Chad I'm absolutely going for Naruto anytime, anyday.

Which anime character in more evil in your opinion?
DylanMax replied to jkl3wr's topic in Anime Discussion
yeah his really good but not good enough to be added to the list that's my opinion though -
Hey, no worries at all life gets busy, and accounts get forgotten (I won't judge ). That’s a bummer about the forum post going unanswered though sometimes niche anime mysteries just slip through the cracks. Honestly, those sketches sound intriguing! If you ever feel like sharing them (or the story) someday, I’d be totally curious to hear about it. Childhood anime memories are like cryptic treasure hunts half the fun is the weird nostalgia of it all. Anyway, glad you popped back in! If you ever wanna ramble about obscure anime, lost media, or just random stuff, I’m here for it. Catch you later.
