Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are fighting. Sesshomaru says, "You can't beat me, I'm a full blooded demon. There's nothing you can do I can't do a thousand times better."
Inuyasha looks him in the eye and says, "Oh yeah? Clap!"
Sesshomaru: “Sorry, dude, but I don’t twerk”

Welcome Hope you find things that interest you here & decide to stick around.
I also enjoyed Paranoia Agent & Patema Inverted. And your profile page background reminds me of one of my favorite anime quotes/subtitles

None of the anime series I like has 300+ episodes.
The closest would be Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura, and even between them their episode count is less than 300.
Same here. Probably the closest for me that I still have some interest in would be My Hero Academia (season 6 ended earlier this year but that still is only 138 episodes, not including the OVAs & movies). I watched around 150 episodes of One Piece before burning out on it early in the Skypeia arc.
Generally speaking I feel like at least 25 episodes, but less than 100 is the ideal length for a series.

I’m mainly into anime & animation. As far as series you might like: Steins Gate • Monster • Shiki • Mushishi • Angels of Death • Paranoia Agent • Boogiepop Phantom ( & the more recent remake/expansion) • Higurashi (When They Cry) • ID Invaded • Beautiful Bones • Raven of the Inner Palace • XXXholic • Dororo -
The Takagi movie will be available on HiDive beginning June 18th

To those who have watched it (Slayers), Is it worth the watch?
I think it’s worth watching the first season of the tv series at least, you can make up your mind whether to watch beyond afterwards. I’ve watched the first 3 of the 5 seasons & my biggest complaint is the humor & filler episodes got pretty repetitive the longer it went on. The larger storylines could get fairly dark though. Part of my anime bucketlist is to rewatch the first 3 seasons (subtitled this time) & finish up seasons 4&5.
The movie & OVAs are all (with the exception of the last one) prequels of the tv series & aren’t necessary to watch unless you really like the humor, since that’s the focus. There’s a bit of a running joke that Lina’s rival/traveling companion (Naga) is related to one of the characters from the tv series. I don’t believe it’s ever officially confirmed, but an arc in one of the final seasons makes it all but certain I’ve heard. -

started off rough, but has grown on me to become one of the few fanservicey harem dramadies I actually enjoy. Largely because despite having 5 girls, only 2 seem to have a genuine romantic interest in the male lead. And even though she’s not one of them, Ami has become one of my favorite genki baka characters as her antics consistently crack me up

I think you’re looking for Green Green https://myanimelist.net/anime/133/Green_Green
Some caveats/disclaimers: the series is considerably older (the early 2000s) & the main story is only the focus for the final couple of eps, for the most part the series is a rather ecchi comedy with lots of fanservice if I remember correctly. That’s probably why you’ve had difficulty finding it (plus it’s rather obscure).

When they were first released my late father and I went to see the first three Star Wars films on the Big Screen at our local cinema and they looked awesome.
Awesome indeed. My best friend in grade school’s mom took a van load of us kids to see Return of the Jedi at the cinema when it first came out. One of my favorite childhood memories (along with seeing Superman 2, Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan & Raiders of the Lost Ark in similar situations). The 80’s were a great time to be a kid/teenager.

Decent effects for the 80s. Still wonder what it'd be like in the theater though when it first came out.
Still pissed off that George thought he needed to “improve” the original trilogy by adding CGI scenes when they were re-released in theaters & blacklisted the original versions
As for myself, just got back from seeing Across the Spiderverse. Definitely a visual spectacle, unfortunately felt like there were times the visuals were more important than telling a coherent story.

It’s her sleeping bag She’s a 20 year old NEET obsessed with shark movies & merch. Whether there’s a reason beyond just thinking that they’re cool is unknown at this point (it’s from the same guy who wrote Baccano & Durarara, so weirdos are the status quo)

Looks like summer is here. Highs are supposed to be upper 80s & low 90s all week with no rain

I generally prefer the subtitled version. Like @Key Visual said, I feel like a lot of times the original VAs bringing emotion & energy to the role that the dubs miss. Plus I’ve watched anime long enough that I can usually get the cultural humor & references that they sometimes try to localize in the dub with questionable results.
Exceptions where I prefer the english dub: Cowboy Bebop • Star Blazers 2199 & 2205 • Monster • Steel Angel Kurumi.
PLEASE help find a anime i used to watch

I’ve never seen the original, but did watch the remake that came out a couple years ago
